OC. Today marks one year clean.

Yes, I did self-heal. The scar is awful. I'm not trying to glorify self-harm, the second photo is one year of healing. (I also pick scabs though, the one pictured has been perpetual since the healing.) https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1719497523193453.webp

I know this won't reach many people most likely, but be careful what you do to relieve your anger and stress. I get questions often and honestly I'm a pretty self-conscious guy, so it gets bad when I have to explain it.

Now if only I could do the same with alcohol, my biggest vice. Working on that too. I lost my grandfather (very suddenly, mind you,) about a month ago and I promised him I'd get clean. Here's hoping I can do that too, yesterday was one week.

One step at a time!! Remember you are "healing. Not healed"

I was in a bad car accident and lost my cousin (I was driving so the guilt I carry is immense) and I used alcohol heavy to drown my pain.

One day after a bad and embarrassing black out I woke up and thought…idw to drink anymore…and haven't touched it for 6 years now!

One day you will find yourself able to hold that pain without the vices! I promise!
