I’m not entirely sure of the background on this video but it’s one of my favorite self-harm videos so I thought why the hell not upload it here? If you want my guess: it’s either a pathetic suicide attempt or simply someone taking out their emotional baggage using box cutters.
I think the pathetic suicide attempt one is higher in probability as it’s obviously a girl by the cute sobbing and women attempt suicide 5x more than men do because they choose less lethal methods (like silting of the wrist.) according to Geo Stone Suicide And Attempted Suicide cut/stab (also cutting of the wrist) is placed on 11th for fatality (which only “other” is lower than) and the seriousness of result is 2.60 and with a total of 561 attempters only 23 actually died.
I also believe it’s probably a pathetic suicide attempt as her arm looks very clean if she had self-harmed in the past it’s unlikely her arm would be so nice looking.
