The moment in which suspect Jhobert Roberto Gomes Martins , aged 34, entered a supermarket, in Caeté , Greater BH, and killed his wife, Ana Lúcia Moreira de Almeida Gomes , aged 29, was recorded by the store's security circuit.
Jhobert arrived at the scene wearing a cap, jeans and a red knitted blouse. He walked down the checkout aisle, apparently looking for Ana Lúcia.
After a few seconds, the images showed her accompanied by a co-worker, at which point he approached the victim and quickly took out the revolver and shot her several times. She died instantly.
He then shot himself in the head and also died at the scene. Terrified, customers and employees ran through the supermarket.
