no,his dad turned himself in to (i think) give his son time to flee to mexico or rather just hide out somewhere in texas. but if you ask me texas would be a dumbass idea to hide out given the reasons

he said he had no idea his kid did the shooting, he testified that he took his son to the gas station and that his son got off to get something then hopped in the car saying that someone was shooting and to drive the dad said he honestly doesn't know where his son is but we all know he's in mexico i forgot how much time the dad got but i think he was smiling in his mugshot
