Burewala (Urdu Point News Latest - APP. May 15, 2022) A security guard of a private hospital was shot dead by robbers while resisting a robbery outside a private hospital. The accused also snatched the gun of the security guard and fled.
Two unidentified armed robbers came outside a private hospital on Jamleera Road within the limits of Burewala Police Station Gagumandi Mandi and tried to snatch cash etc. from a person standing outside the hospital. After firing a pistol, he piled the security guard on the ground. As he fell, the armed robber snatched his licensed gun and fled the scene along with his accomplice. The security guard was shot in the chest and died on the spot. Has started the process.

In a tragic event that occurred in the district of Carabayllo, Jorge Luis Verano Enciso, a member of the Special Services Unit of the National Police of Peru, lost his life after receiving two fatal shots.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Los Álamos and Micaela Bastidas streets, where security cameras captured the exact moment of the attack.
Before the crime, Verano Enciso had a brief conversation with his attackers. At one point, he backed away, anticipating the oncoming attack. The subjects, aboard a motorcycle, opened fire on him, leaving him lying on the pavement. Surprisingly, the criminals did not take any of the victim's belongings and quickly fled the crime scene.
The Carabayllo community is shocked by this act of violence. Verano Enciso, despite his career in the police, had been the subject of controversy in recent years.
In 2018, he was reported for aggravated robbery, and in 2022, he was accused of having physically attacked a young artist in the area, who reported the disfigurement of his face after the incident. This background has generated a mixed reaction in the community.
The National Police of Peru has begun an exhaustive investigation to find those responsible for the murder of Verano Enciso. The images from the security cameras in the area are being reviewed and the collaboration of citizens has been requested to provide any information that could help in the capture of the aggressors.

Incident of Shooting at Gwanda Mall, Kampala
Kampala, 4th June 2024
The Police at Old Kampala have instituted inquiries into a shooting incident that occurred on 3rd June 2024 at Gwanda Mall, Kisenyi Parish, Kampala Central, at approximately 6 PM.
It is alleged that Kalyebi Ismail, a security guard attached to SGA, was on duty at Gwanda Mall when he arrested Katongole, whom he suspected to be a criminal. During the arrest, a struggle ensued, and Katongole overpowered Kalyebi Ismail. In response, Kalyebi picked up his gun and shot Katongole once in the waist, thereby disabling him.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the territorial police units of Muzaana and Old Kampala responded to the scene and managed to evacuate the victim to Mulago Hospital, where he is currently admitted with a gunshot wound to the stomach. We have also retrieved CCTV footage to help in the ongoing investigation into what exactly led to the shooting.
The suspect, Kalyebi Ismail, is currently on the run. Efforts are underway to apprehend him.
We urge the public to remain calm and report any information that may assist in the arrest of the suspect.
