What is your favourite hot sauce?

I have only tried 2 hot sauces since I have only recently discovered that I like spicey food (hated it as a child) Classic Tobasco, and Cholula. Both are pretty good, Tobasco is maybe a little too tangy, Cholula is pretty delicious and well balanced.

Also what do you recommend putting the sauces on?

I'm not sure what my favorite hot sauce is, there are so many options. I tried one recently called "Secret Aardvark habanero" that I remember being pretty darn good. Cholula is also a very good sauce, it's not my favorite style of hot sauce but I'd definitely give it a thumbs-up

But the main reason I'm making this comment is because I want to share my thoughts on tobasco: it's really really good, one of my absolute favorite sauces, BUT here's the thing, I don't view it as a typical hot sauce at all, I put it in its own category because of its unique flavor. The main things I like it for are breakfast foods, I think it goes perfectly with potatoes/hash browns, and also with eggs. I like to add a bit of ketchup as well because I think it provides a nice balance to the sharpness of tobasco. If you haven't tried it before then I'd highly recommend trying some potatoes (preferably either hash browns or home fries/country fried potatoes) with ketchup and tobasco. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast foods :)

Thanks for the Tobasco advice, it's definitely a little less versitile to me because of that unique tang it has, but it is good and eggs and sounds good an everything you suggested. I would also recommend it on deep fried fish. Like British fish & chips style battered cod. That's a good combo.
