You choose, Who's wrong?

The only reason people would think the camera man is in the wrong is because at any point that cop could have put a bullet through him for not complying to such a small request of not wanting to be filmed. y’all need to wake the fuck up. Pigs gon pig.

i think none of that and could care less about cops.. i still think the dude was a dumbass, cuz eventually you have to stop recording and face arrest.. and this guy was already pulled over at gunpoint.

and i am just guessing here, but maybe his dumbass already had did something stupid on the road, or said something dumb to initiate the "at gunpoint"

Yeah maybe and I’m just guessing here too, but maybe if he hadn’t pulled his phone out he would have got shot.

Man this site is full of fucking boot lickers. Those cops weren't in danger and they didn't feel like they were in danger. Cops don't like being filmed and will go on a power trip over every little thing they can. Go ahead and downvote me, enjoy your deep fried boot tonight.

To be fair, we don't know what happened before recording started. Cops don't usually stay back at their car with their gun drawn. This guy probably at least took them on a chase or did some other stupid bullshit.

Exactly. Hard to pin blame on a party when you don’t have background information. Like how one time I saw people complaining about police shooting a black guy in a car. The police weren’t racist and using excessive force… if you would read about it you would find out he pulled a gun, lol

Both the cops and the guy filming can be idiots at the same time you know

So here's my take:

I hate cops, and the cops are absolute shitheads here. You ARE allowed to visibly and publically record a cop, but in this scenario i feel like he should have just put the phone down.

If he put the phone down hed be shot. Hed have to just drop it and then hed have to pay for a new phone along with all the citations if not arrest fees.

I didnt even think about that. Yeah the cops put this guy in a double bind.

Okey let me clear shi up this video because I'm tired of these lil keyboard warriors acting tough, THIS WAS A FELONY STOP not a normal traffic stop, a felony stop is when someone has been actively on chase with cops or is wanted for a felony warrant, and in a felony stop you can't carry your camera, and one more thing in the law if cops told you to do something three times they have the right to engage in physical interaction but this was a felony stop so they can't do that and they had gone with the less lethal way which is a taser, so yeah I conclude that this is 100% justified and this mfer on the video is an ignorant dumbass who probably going to use the race card in court.

LOL at the people yelling ACAB. We don't know the background of this video. Looks like a felony police stop, so guy could have warrants, just led them on a chase, or spent 10 minutes setting up facebook live and setting the stage before pulling over. Based on this video alone we cannot determine fault or anything other than the suspect did not put the phone down.

Wait... all of this controversy is over him being tased? You're fucking joking, right? I thought he was shot dead with all the comments crying about it.

I guess I'm a "bootlicker" because this dipshit deserved that 2-pronged shock to the back.

Before the replies come in... I'd honestly much rather put a bullet in your heads than read or respond to anything, any of you have to say.

Now... have a blessed evening.

I don't blame the cops, dude looks like he's got a pound of C4 tucked in his undies.

Hey, dude should be grateful he isn't black otherwise when he'd unbuckle his seatbelt guarantee one would've yelled "HE'S GOT A GUN" and unloaded.

In all seriousness these cops are most definitely mentally deficient.

Yeah I think this was following a chase. What stands out to me is the lack of backup. This looks like one squad car making an arrest, but in much of the USA it is standard protocol to call in backup as soon as a suspect becomes noncompliant in order to maintain officer safety. With just two arresting officers I can see the use of the taser being justifiable.

People need to learn a lesson - listen to the man with the gun. You'll increase your chances of not getting hurt/killed, and can sue for your reparations or whatever later.

I haven't done any further research into this situation, so maybe I'm missing something, but I feel like there's an aspect to this that I haven't seen anyone mention. Based on what's in the video, this shows a young brown man who has been pulled over by a cop in a rural area with few people around. It seems that the cop already had the gun drawn at the very beginning of the video, before he started asking the man to put his phone down, which could mean that the man's reason for recording in the first place was because he felt like he could be in danger of getting shot/tasered. I'm assuming whatever he was pulled over for wasn't like a heinous crime or something, so having a weapon pulled on him from the get-go was probably unexpected and pretty scary, especially when he's a brown man in an empty, rural area of the US with no one around. The trustworthiness of the police and other authorities has been in question for decades, now more than ever. It is very possible this man was genuinely very afraid of the situation, so he decided to record it as a way of trying to protect himself from harm, not because he wanted internet fame. If he didn't record it, the police could find a reason to shoot him anyways, and if there's no civilian witnesses, it probably wouldn't be hard to get it ruled as self-defense in court. By recording, he has a bit more insurance, though not very much.

Why are you assuming he didn't commit a heinous crime? I think it's much safer to assume this isn't happening because he ran a stop sign. You're rationalizing what you want to believe. You made a whole story to support an idea with zero evidence.
