Serious accident leaves male motorcyclist and his female companion seriously injured. Caucaia. Ceará.

The accident happened Monday 5th, in Caucaia, Ceará.

The accident occurred on Avenida Mister Hull, towards Fortaleza, on the way up to the viaduct (former frifort).

According to information, the motorcyclist tried to make a prohibited return and was hit by a passenger car. The motorcyclist and the passenger suffered serious injury.

The female was left with an open fracture of the lower part of the body, the motorcyclist, in more of a serious condition, lost one of his legs which had been torn off in the impact. Both were taken to the Instituto Dr. José Frota (IJF).

Neither of their names have been released.

Police are still investigating.
