He was chased through a small grass park off camera. It happened in Edmonton Canada.

The first loud pop you hear would be the hull cracking, and the second would be the actual implosion from the pressure chamber failing, and crushing anything inside within milliseconds. At a pressure of 250-400 atmospheres, the hull would have been crushed at around 7 times the speed of sound. The slow echo of the implosion would be heard for the remainder of the audio.
