This was in Vietnam.

The kid was pressured to achieve good grades in school and so was pretty stressed, he couldn't take it anymore so he told his dad to read his suicide note on the table (as a distraction) and jumped. The dad was asking the kid to come inside, as it was early in the morning and he had school the next day. He jumped off of the 28th floor btw.

Eh it's mainly the US that fucking sucks, and that's because they literally pass everyone no matter the grade... It's just reality, they even took the bell curve out of US universities to get rid of this sort of inter-class competition. Yet when it comes to landing that job you want? Well, if the next person has a better resume than you you're up a certain river now aren't you? There's a reason why the US can't compete at all on an international high-school and collegiate level anymore.
