*onto molten steel. You don't sink into lava or any molten metal- you just slowly burn on a hard red glowing ground, even with aluminum, magnesium and other relatively low density metals. Either you die from the shock (stroke), asphyxia, organ failure or brain trauma as it literally turns steamcooked into a white protein lump.

My bad. I also don't know how reactive those metals are and if they are even possible to be molten in open crucibles in normal oxygen/moisture environment (air). I think in one of the Austin Powers movies was such a scene, with a guy moaning comically long while burning slowly in a lava death trap instead of instantly dying.
