Do you believe the median fall from this height is to concrete pavement, entails clipping a protruding structure on the way down and landing in anyway similiar to her? Many people universally refer to both paramedics and EMTs as EMTs, particularly in the US. Most people don't know that there's even any difference. Where I live, there's the opposite issue, where everyone is just referred to as a 'paramedic', including technicians.
The guy you replied to likely did this, as why would he specify EMTs, and not paramedics? If you're just trying to be pedantic, then dont bother. They wouldn't send a single EMT crew to a major trauma regardless.
However, EMTs can still solve certain types of internal haemorrhaging, such as via a pelvic binder.
Lastly, I literally do out of hospital critical care, in emergency response vehicles, for a living. So I think I know the differences here.
