Self-immolation, standing in front of trains, autodefenestration, and blowing out your brains. Whenever someone tries and succeeds in ending their own life, this is where it goes.

In japanese culture, putting others before yourself is extremely exaggerated. Workers will bow to their boss even when they are getting fired over a stupid reason. Wives will bow to their husband after being cheated on. Kids will bow to their teachers for failing a class. Sadly this is also relevant when a relationship fails and they take it to the extreme of comitting suicide as a way of showing their apology and feeling self worthy. It has been like this since their war ages. Samurais often would commit suicide if they felt weaker than their opponents just to escape the fact their ego had been damaged.
