Your comment is so devoid of logic that I had to make an account to correct your stupidity. Yes It takes 1 second to severe spinal cord and he wont feel pain in the body that head has detached from which is obvious and doesnt need writing. However you are an incredible moron for thinking that severed head doesnt feel pain. Your severed head will feel having neck cut off for as long as it is concious which starts fading away with loss of blood and oxygen.
Depending on how fast you bleed out it can take roughly 30 seconds before it starts getting darker in your severed head eyes.
However if it wasnt a clean cut but a crushing one blocking blood loss you could be concious for as long as you could hold your breath. So no its not 1 second of pain you moron. Its pathetic how retarded you have to be to even write such a stupid thing.
This death was very painful however it still beats many ways of suicide like hanging or jumping of a bulding, even from a shotgun to the head you might survive. Maybe its painful but its certain.
The only better certain ways are exploding yourself or CO poisoning.
