Absolutely heartbreaking. If you read what his girlfriend said afterwards she talked about what it was like with his bipolar and how horrible it was but I have to say she stood by his side every second of every day and that takes an incredible woman. With him being so depressed and being suicidal she would sleep with his hand tied to her hand so he wouldn't get up without her knowing as many times as he went ballistic she didn't leave them when he was at his high highs and as low as lows the things he did would run almost everyone off 99% of the time but not her. Now that is true love but as they say love can't always save you as in this case. And he did like to drink she said he may not drink for weeks then when he started there was no stopping it which does not help the bipolar and he also was not taking his medicine. My son has a medication that they give you a shot once a month so that you don't have to worry about them not taking their medicine every day it's been an absolute godsend! If you take medicine for bipolar or schizophrenia please ask your doctor it really does make our lives a lot easier that is the biggest problem with bipolar is they stop taking their medicine for some reason I don't know why
