Man dies after trying to save 17-year-old girl who wants to commit suicide:marseybrainlet:

Well, I think that someone does not understand physics, in conclusion, do not try to save a girl of approximately 132L from a fall of approximately 30-40 meters

This will probably sound dumb but what if you time it right and basically tackle her right ght before she hits the ground? How well would that work?

The human body is not soft, it is hard, we are bones, imagine that your skull collides with another skull at 75 miles per hour.

Anyway, yes it's possible but not with big bodies and big weights, in this case maybe it would work with a baby, you'd end up with broken arms but it would work. there was already a case in which a man saved a baby who was going to fall from a 5th floor, he ended up with broken arms but he saved it

Unless they are fat. Then they are all soft and jiggly like a big pillow!

Dude should have tackled that falling baby.

You would have to tackle her extremely hard to make her change trajectory or reduce the force of her fall impact. And by that point you're just killing her in a different way along with yourself, she's carrying a shitload of kinetic energy that is going to have to dissipate somehow for her to stop. Cars have crumple zones to dissipate kinetic energy by controlled deformation in a crash, you're just turning yourself into a crumple zone by being in her path.

It would literally not change anything. She is still falling straight down. You moving her horizontally would do nothing.
