Happened on May 20, 2018, around 4:21 am on Rostovskoye Shosse, Krasnodar, Russia

Stanislav Yeromin (25) decided to go fishing. He went to his neighbors, Dmitriy Isayev (19) and his father Sergey Isayev (40). They got into Stanislavs VAZ-2112 and set off.

At around the same time, Vladislav Anosov, famous dentist and businessman, owner and ordinator of Center for Modern Dentistry DoctorStom (Центр современной стоматологии ДокторСтом) was driving drunk in his Mercedes S-Class. He had a fight with his wife the day before and was drinking heavily. Reportedly he was also being chased by the police.

On Rostovskoye Shosse he reached around 200 km/h. Then he crashed into the back of VAZ driven by Stanislav.

All three men were ejected from the vehicle. Stanislav, who was driving, and Dmitriy, who was sleeping on the back seat, died on spot. Sergey, who was seating in the front, was seriously injured, but he survived. Anosov wasn't even slightly injured.

Mother of Dmitriy, Ludmila Isayeva arrived first on the scene of the accident. Doctors forbidden her telling Sergey that their son had died. All this time, no one was allowed to come near Anosov, he was being guarded by five policemen.

"I asked, why he wasn't taken for a drinking test. They told me, that he refused to take one. They put him on a front seat of a police car, where he was talking on the phone with someone. I think he might be on drugs."

Said Ludmila

According to her, the investigation was almost not existing and Anosov was allowed to have a house arrest.

"Only after we found an attorney, the investigator said, that he was waiting for me."

She told Bloknot Krasnodara she was afraid, that person with a lot of money can avoid responsibility. Also Anosov tried negotiating with victims families through his attorney.

"His attorney called us and offered an agreement. We refused."

Spokesman of local police, Artem Konovalenko, confirmed that Anosov was drunk, when the accident occured and that Mercedes significantly exceeded the speed limit. He didn't confirm that Mercedes was being chased by the police tho.

Sergey, the only passenger that survived, learned about his sons death from the wife of Anosov. She was the first person to contact victims families and she confirmed that her husband got drunk and drove off in his Mercedes after a fight with her.

"About my sons death, I learned from his (Anosov's) wife. I was in a hospital, when she entered the room and told me: You son was buried today. I told her, that I didn't knew he died."

Ludmila says that the reason for the tragedy may be a conflict on Anosovs family.

Anosov's wife called me and asked for a meeting. When we met, she started crying, begging for forgiveness. She told me it was all her fault, because she started a fight with him. She told me: He wanted to leave the family, but we have four children. He got angry because of this and that's why all this had happened.

In the end, Anosov was sentenced to four years suspended sentence. The court took into account the circumstances: Anosov plead guilty, showed sincere repentance, had four underage children and paid compensations for material and moral damage to the victims.

However, he was 'filling' extreme guilt. He just couldn't seem to brush it off.

In the comments she says that her son would've been 19 in 1.5 months when the accident (killing tbh) happend.

Some people in the comments are blaming the dead driver for having such a shitty car and that it was somewhat his fault because they didn't have any headlights.

Majority of the dumb fucks russians really blame the car driver for changing the lane without looking in the side mirror to see that someones speeding in the left lane.

Basically, when you brace for an impact, your muscles are rigid instead of all loosey goosey.

This can be both a voluntary, and an involuntary reaction. Even if you don't tense up your muscles using conscious signals from your brain, your body might do it for you. It is a built in reaction that can be hard or even impossible to ignore. Relaxing your body while at rest is one thing, but it is more difficult or even impossible when you are barreling toward another car.

This rigidity will prevent your body from "flowing" with the crash. This will cause a massive increase in potential injury. Especially in your neck.

Scientists don't completely agree on why this happens in drunk people, but what is known for sure is that a drunk person's body is almost always not rigid during a crash.

A drunk person's body behaves similarly to how a crash dummy would in a crash test.

Cars are hollow from the rear. The S Class has a big 3L 6cyl engine (you could tell from the sound) and a robust crumble zone in front which attenuated the crash. The small old car has nothing in the rear to protect it.

A major reason we left Russia was bullshit like this. My dad was a mobster and racketeer in the 90s and is still extremely wealthy today but we reside in Canada and he's a better man today. I showed him this and he said there's no chance he didn't pay off the local police and the DAs office. The families best bet would be to use the money from the compensation and hire a criminal bratva with the money to take out the dentist. However, violence doesn't bring back the loved ones. One reckless decision can have far reaching consequences. Asians suck at driving in the sense that they just aren't road smart. Russians often are just assholes on the road. I myself have an 2021 Infiniti QX80 and a heavily modded 2016 challenger srt8 (yes yes rich Russian kid I know I know) but I never speed and definitely would never drive drunk.
