An accident involving several cars occurred near the village of Zelenets.
Today, on August 26, at 14.40 on a section of the federal highway M-8 at the entrance to Severodvinsk near the village of Zelenets, a traffic accident occurred, as a result of which a woman died, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region reports.
In the Arkhangelsk region, "drunk" accidents have become the number one problem According to preliminary information, the driver of the Skoda car, unable to maintain a safe distance, allowed a collision with the Zaz Chance car moving ahead, which slowed down to turn left. From the impact, "Zaz" was thrown into the oncoming traffic lane, where the car collided with the Hyundai bus route No. 138.
It is known that the driver of the Zaz Chance car, a woman born in 1980, died on the spot from her injuries.
In addition, 5 passengers of the bus received various injuries. Four citizens were treated on the spot, one passenger – a woman born in 1939 - was hospitalized with a broken leg.

A drunk driver that causes the death of another human being should automatically be treated as 2nd degree murder and be sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in prison before parole is even considered. And in cases where the accused has a prior DUI, 1st degree murder, and life without parole. Enough is enough. I like enjoying various substances too, but there is NO WAY that you should be able to end the life of someone because of the fact that you're too selfish or STUPID to know that you DO NOT drive drunk, especially in this day and age. If you've had too much to drink, there are a multitude of options available to get home safely nowadays. I enjoy watching DUI bodycams on YT and have seen MANY that are on their 3rd-4th-5th DUI's! There are a few I have seen with 10 or more! The fuck? NO EXCUSE! Start LOCKING THEM UP, and MEAN IT!
