One of the busiest streets in Khabarovsk turned out to be the scene of a terrible accident. Around noon, the driver of a Toyota Lit-Ice truck loaded with vegetables and fruits was driving along Suvorov. He took his eyes off the road for a second, but it was enough for the car to veer sideways. The truck drove into oncoming traffic and rammed a Toyota Prius at high speed. The car was thrown by inertia into a passing Nissan Teana and Toyota Verossa.

The impact was so strong that the driver of the "Ice" flew out of the cabin through the windshield. The man hit his head hard on the asphalt and remained motionless until the ambulance arrived. Dozens of passers-by gathered around, but no one could do anything to help the victim.

A few minutes after the accident, the police and an ambulance arrived. The man was taken to the intensive care unit, but he died on the way to the hospital.

The truck driver suffered a traumatic brain injury incompatible with life. He died on the way to the hospital. Presumably, the man is about 70 years old. There is no exact information yet. The driver of the Prius refused to be hospitalized, " the Ministry of Health of the Khabarovsk Territory told KP Khabarovsk.
