On Wednesday, November 10, at about 16:43 p.m., a fatal accident with a logging truck occurred on the 283rd kilometer of the M1-Belarus highway.

The 64-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Trailblazer did not provide an advantage in traffic and collided with a Freightliner truck with a semi-trailer moving in the same direction under the control of a 49-year-old man.

As a result of the collision, the heavy truck overturned and dumped timber products on a DAF truck with a semi-trailer moving in the same direction under the control of a 49-year-old driver.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Smolensk region, as a result of an accident, the driver of the Freightliner died from his injuries.
