The traffic accident happened on May 30 on the highway Kochubey - Neftekumsk — Zelenokumsk — Mineralnye Vody. Two people were killed and four injured.
According to the preliminary version, on May 30, at about 19 o'clock, the driver of the Lada Granta, moving from the direction of Minvod, went on a dangerous overtaking. The car drove into oncoming traffic, where it first collided with an oncoming Hyundai Sonata car, and then with a VAZ-211440.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the VAZ, a 36—year-old resident of the Soviet District, and the passenger of the Granta, a 45—year-old resident of the CBD, died from their injuries. The driver of the foreign car, as well as the driver and two passengers of the Granta were hospitalized with serious injuries.
It is known that the Lada was driven by a 30-year-old resident of Zelenokumsk, who has repeatedly violated the speed limit over the past six months. The drivers had their blood biorecorded to determine the state of intoxication. A check is being carried out on the fact of the car accident, the circumstances and degree of responsibility of the participants in the accident are being clarified.
