A fatal accident occurred on the federal highway in the Arkharinsky district on December 13.

According to preliminary data, at 12:35 p.m., a Honda Fit passenger car and a Scania truck collided at 1,721 kilometers of the Amur highway. As a result of the car accident, the driver of the 1988 passenger car died on the spot from his injuries.

According to law enforcement officers, the cause of the accident is driving into the oncoming lane during a snowfall. The circumstances of the incident are being established by police officers, the press service of the UGIBDD of the Amur region reported.

I think it's overconfidence. People laughed when drivers in Texas slid during the freeze, but I've seen more people crash in Washington in just the constant rain every week.
