I don't understand the cockiness of bikers in the lanes they're not supposed to be in and even pedestrians who run out in front of moving cars. You're smaller than everybody else. if there's no designated bike lane, then I'd say you're correct. If there's no sidewalk, they can't go anywhere else. But if there is, that's what they're supposed to use. Also they're literally riding down the middle of the line and in general kinda acting like they own the road here.

I live in NYC. People on bikes are supposed to follow the same traffic laws as cars. Zero percent of them do. You have to look carefully before crossing even when the sign switches to walk for bikes coming out of nowhere between stopped cars. I fucking hate these people.

yup! i used to be one and know to respect drivers space on the roads. this also looks like the highway which makes them even more at fault and makes them look 10x more retarded. if you're on a road where there's no sidewalk and there's only grass and trees next to it, you better move out of the way for cars if they cant pass you, when i did that id move to the side if they can't pass me, they deserve the space more than we do, just like we deserve the sidewalk more than they do. there's also nothing more awkward than biking and having cars line up behind you 😭

well duh, but in a sense they really had it coming, biking on what looks to be the highway on the drivers side of the road thinking they're entitled to it when there's a full lane that looks to he for them potentially. this guy is an idiot but they also have to realize people aren't gonna stop for, or may not even be seeing you (not paying attention) because you're a bike rider. this is a clear case of they had it coming but the driver is still at fault for purposely ramming into the group. they're lucky it wasn't worse
