I don't understand the cockiness of bikers in the lanes they're not supposed to be in and even pedestrians who run out in front of moving cars. You're smaller than everybody else. We get that. but you clearly don't understand that your entitlement won't save you from an ending up on a site like this if that car doesn't stop.

I live in NYC. People on bikes are supposed to follow the same traffic laws as cars. Zero percent of them do. You have to look carefully before crossing even when the sign switches to walk for bikes coming out of nowhere between stopped cars. I fucking hate these people.

right, they act so entitled. i know some roads allow bikers and cars to be on the same road but holy shit are they entitled. as a previous biker even i knew how annoying it is to be stuck behind one. imo if you're on a road with no sidewalk and theres cars behind you and they have no opportunity to pass you, you should get out of the way and stop being an entitled cunt. bikers are like leeches

Lanes they're not supposed to be in? Am I wrong, or are they allowed to be in that lane? Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty bad idea to treat bikes like cars, but a lot of laws do. So, unless I'm wrong, they legally had the right to be there??

I don't disagree with your main point, though. Like I said, it's pretty fuckin dumb to let bikers act like drivers. My dad always said "It doesn't matter if you had the right-of-way when you're dead"

if there's no designated bike lane, then I'd say you're correct. If there's no sidewalk, they can't go anywhere else. But if there is, that's what they're supposed to use. Also they're literally riding down the middle of the line and in general kinda acting like they own the road here.
