Pull the kid like you're starting a lawnmower when he starts walking in front of the car again, or once he falls. Any mother babysitter or even random passer-by would do just that in this scenario in any country with an average IQ above 10 but I guess China isn't one of them.

Hey now it was just a tragic accident. The driver was clearly watching the dog so as not to hit him, the mother stopped the child just long enough to admonish them not to play around cars (making the mistake of not pulling the child out of the way), and the child accidentally fell down after running into the vehicle's path. The driver even braked quickly when they realized they'd hit something.
