Car running over a man sitting in the middle of a road in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad late Wednesday night has surfaced online. The incident was captured by a man sitting in another car when he was engaged in live streaming on social media at the time of the incident.

The video shows a man sitting in the middle of the road when a speeding white-coloured car comes from behind and hits him. Despite the man getting trapped beneath the car, the driver did not stop and the man gets dragged away trapped beneath, the video shows. The man died in the accident.

Drunk driver fleeing from the police on ul. Fiolkowa in Legnica lost control of the vehicle and hit a young woman walking on the road. The officers immediately started resuscitation of the 21-year-old, but they could not save her. The driver and two passengers of the Ford were arrested. We have unofficially established that they are all Ukrainians.

The events are reported by Kom. Jagoda Ekiert, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica. - Today around 7.30 we got a signal that ul. Wielogórska is driven by a Ford Focus driven probably by an intoxicated man.

One of the patrols sent to action noticed the wanted vehicle on ul. Jaworzyńska. Police officers turned on their lights and sirens, ordering the driver to stop for inspection. The man in the Ford paid no attention to this and started running away. Speeding through Legnica, he behaved recklessly, breaking the rules many times and posing a threat to other road users.

• After entering the Sienkiewicza housing estate, the driver of the Ford lost control of the vehicle on the curve of the road, hit a woman and hit the cars parked at ul. Fiolkowa - says Kom. Jagoda Ekiert. - Police officers called an ambulance and immediately began to resuscitate the injured 21-year-old. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to save her.

The three men in the smashed Ford, i.e. the driver and two passengers, were arrested. A breathalyser test showed that the 24-year-old driver had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air. His companions have not yet been tested for sobriety. They are in the hospital because they were injured in the accident.

According to the police, after checking the 24-year-old in police IT systems, it turned out that he has two active driving bans. For causing a fatal accident while intoxicated, the Polish code provides for up to 12 years in prison.

At the moment, police officers from the Legnica traffic police, an investigation group and a prosecutor are working on the spot. Evidence is secured.

Information immediately appeared on the network that the driver of the Ford was a citizen of Ukraine. We have unofficially confirmed these suspicions. Two injured passengers who were in the chased vehicle during the escape through the city are also Ukrainians.

Fatal accident on my daily commute yesterday morning at 5am (not filmed by me). Supra had left turn signal and was turning left from Hastings onto willingdon but didn’t wait to make sure oncoming truck was slowing/stopping…. Truck then proceeded to barrel through the red light full steam tboning the supra. Cop was in next oncoming lane (next to truck) so I’m curious if their dashcam angle will be released.

Supra’s passenger died.
