A vehicle crashed into multiple parked cars in Bedford Park, leaving two people in critical condition, police say.

The incident happened at around 7:40 a.m. at 2985 Webster Ave. Police say the driver of a BMW lost control of the car and crashed into multiple parked cars. Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the car.

A woman who was traveling in a private bus near Andipatti fell near the stairs and suffered head injuries...

A woman named Deepalakshmi from Kadamalaikundu area of Andipatti taluk of Theni district was traveling to Theni in a private bus yesterday afternoon, she was traveling by holding the safety bar near the bus stairs.

While getting the ticket from the conductor and putting it in his hand bag, he unexpectedly fell out of the bus and sustained a serious head injury.

In this case, the shocking CCTV footage of the woman falling out of the bus and the bus conductor trying to save the woman has now been released. The Kadamalaikundu police have registered a case regarding the accident and are investigating.

Happened on June 8, 2024, at 7:56 pm in Uglich, Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia

A family from Moscow (daughter, mother and grandmother) were crossing the road on a pedestrian crossing.

47 years old man in VAZ 2111 didn't stop for the pedestrians and hit the 4 years old girl and her mother. The grandmother avoided being hit.

VAZ driver stopped after the accident and exited his vehicle.

The girl died on spot. Her mother was injured.

The culprit was apprehended by the police.

Conversation between the pilot and the air traffic controller moments before the crash:

Happened on February 9, 2024, around 3:15 pm near Naples, Florida, USA

Bombardier Challenger 600 plane took off from The Ohio State University Airport around 1 pm. It was scheduled to land at Naples Airport.

There were 5 people on board:

• Edward Daniel Murphy (50), the pilot, from Oakland Park, Florida;

• Ian Frederick Hofmann (65), second-in-command, from Pompano Beach, Florida;

• Sydney Ann Bosmans (23), crew member, from Jupiter, Florida;

• Aaron Baker (35), passenger, from Columbus, Ohio;

• Audra Green (23), passenger, from Columbus, Ohio.

After landing in Naples, the plane was due to depart to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Unfortunately it never landed in Naples.

Around 3:15 pm the plane was flying over I-75 near Naples. Suddenly the pilot reported:

Lost both engines. Emergency. Make an emergency landing.

An air traffic controller cleared the plane onto the runway and instructed another aircraft to hold short of the runway.

Then the pilot replied:

Cleared to land, but we're not going make the runway.

The plane crashed into the highway,colliding with two vehicles. After that the plane hit the barrier and exploded.

Edward and Ian died on spot. The remaining passengers were injured and taken to the hospital.

A 48 years old man driving one of the car that the plane collided with (2015 Chevrolet Silverado) was also taken to the hospital.

Family of Edward Murphy told Fox 4:

He was dedicated to his work and has lived his life doing what made him happy everyday.

I would imagine that his primary concern the day of the accident were the lives of others on that plane.

Family of Ian Hofmann told Fox 4:

His last moments, calmly speaking with ATC as he tried to save the passengers and crew in the face of a desperate emergency of losing both engines at low altitude,

is how we will always remember him, The family is in shock and devastated but want to express our thanks for the heartfelt support we have received.

We know our father died a hero doing his best to save everyone he could on the plane.

We ask for prayers during this difficult time.

According to Ian's family he had over 40 years of experience.

Traffic police in Haikou, Hainan reported that "Xiaomi SU7 rushed out of the parking lot, causing one death and three injuries": At around 7:35 on June 7, a car collided with two electric vehicles when it was driving out of the gate of Chunjiang No. 1 Community on Meiyuan Road, causing one death on the spot and three people injured to varying degrees (one of them was hospitalized for treatment and was not in danger of life; two people did not need to be hospitalized and have returned home).

After preliminary investigation, the accident was caused by the improper operation of the car driver (drunk driving or drug driving has been ruled out). The driver has been detained by the police in accordance with the law on suspicion of traffic accident. The case is under further investigation.
