I don't know anything about planes, but imagine if the reason why it crashed was someone doing livestream. I remember when boarding an airplane, they anounce before flying to stop using phones, gadgets and such, as it might interfere with the plane's....yeah I don't really know.

I've always thought that if cell phones had even the slightest chance to cause a plane crash, the airlines wouldn't rely on the passengers to switch to airplane mode. They would take all the phones and put them in a closed safe for the duration of the flight.

This has given me the insane idea of... what if they installed those 4D cinema chairs into a plane, replaced the window with realistic looking HD screens, and played a recording of what looks to be the outside of the plane crashing into the ground accompanied by the shaking rocking chairs (blare some crash sound effects over the intercom too), then right at the peak of everyone screaming, the LED screens change to the actual view out the window, the chairs return to being still, and everyone who thought they were moments from death are suddenly smooth sailing in the sky minutes from landing. Would be a sick prank (sick in multiple ways) love to see it

I was once on a plane with my tablet, and I asked the guy next to me if he thought the tablet would cause an issue if I used it. He told me, "try it, and if the plane starts to go down turn it off".

I always use my plane in the sky, 4g/5g tends to work well when the plane is still descending/asecnding. It does not cause any issues btw, i did it 100s of times and even streamed some departures/arrivals on discord
