Isn't there a much longer video of a related incident in chechnya? Definitely one of the more brutal videos I've seen, with the amount of time the executioners and hostages are speaking together about it, them crying and begging with one even briefly getting away and chased down. Just felt insane to imagine yourself there trying to feel what they were feeling.

There is. In fact there is an entire old underground documentary film called ‘The Mad Wolves' (Бешеные Волки). I used to watch it back in 2010-2013, now, I guess, it is harder to find. Just in case I'll find it and have enough time, I'll upload it here with a bit of a story.

kinda sorta not really. the video you're referencing is the tukhchar massacre which took place in 1999. It was a warcrime in the Dagestan incursion where the IIPB murdered a handful of Russian soldiers. Chechclear was part of an abduction of a few civilians by Chechen gunmen, so basically the gunmen didnt get what they wanted so they poked the poor guy. It took place around the same time of instability in Chechnya but for very different reasons
