Well that was different. I've been wondering since I started watching this stuff that surely it's not lights out the very instant the head comes off? There's got to be a moment, like a split second when that person has become a human being that's just a head.
Do they stop feeling things when the head is off or when the heart stops? Like in one very particular and very well know clip when the head is intact with the body but the heart is cut out and it's still beating? At what point did that person cease to exist?
I have alot of questions. I didn't think watching stuff on here would trigger so many questions. It's not until you see death in the form we see it on here that i realise how many damned questions there are about the point someone has died and stop feeling things. And it's not like we can even ask any of them

I don't often reply to comments because the amount I post but this one caught my eye. You took the time to write it and put genuine thought into it so I'll share my opinion. I've thought about this myself, as a former EMT I have a little bit of insight into Anatomy but I'm no doctor so take my opinion for what it's worth. I think in this case with such a clean and efficient cut that there is a brief moment of consciousness that takes place because the brain is undamaged & there is still oxygenated blood in the cranial cavity. So for mabey 1 to 2 seconds the victim is aware of being beheaded before they bleed out and fade to black. I think they would be in so much shock they most likely they would have time to register pain and the quality of consciousness could also be debated. So to answer your question with my thoughts and opinion, yes I think they are conscious and aware for a very brief window. Cheers mate
