Today 12/4/23 or for the rest of the world 4/12/23, a man being swatted (for shooting flares in a public park and firing random shots from a long barrel AR ) has filled his house with Natrual gas and upon the SWAT team forcibly entering his home detonated the natrual gas with either a shot from his AR or flare gun.

"As officers were attempting to execute a search warrant at the residence, the suspect discharged several rounds inside the home,” said ACPD. “Subsequently, an explosion occurred at the residence and officers continue to investigate the circumstances of the explosion." - ACPD

"A duplex where a suspect was involved in an ongoing incident with police exploded in a large fireball as police, including a SWAT armored vehicle, moved in. It followed the suspect repeatedly firing a flare gun over nearby Fields Park." - ARLNOW

As of right now no casualties have been reported besides the man inside of the house.

UPDATED 12/5/23 or 5/12/23 -

Suspect name was James Yoo

Alex Wilson, the neighbor who took the video seen above — and shared worldwide on social media tonight — told ARLnow that the resident of the home was firing a rifle at police as they used the SWAT vehicle to try to get inside.

“When they rammed the front door he started firing an AR back at them,” he said. Wilson said he saw at least one officer injured following the explosion.

“He was able to walk but he was like holding his head,” said Wilson.

A man named James Yoo, listed in public records as the resident of the address to which police were initially dispatched, has been repeatedly posting paranoid screeds on his Linkedin account. One post from three days ago rants against his neighbors in the adjoining duplex unit.

Wilson — the neighbor who took the video of the explosion from his roof — described Yoo as a recluse and said he had aluminum foil covering the windows.

After the home was listed for sale a couple of years ago, Yoo chased would-be buyers off with a knife, according to Wilson. Real estate records show the home was taken off the market on at the end of 2021.

As a commenter has made me aware @Flatline_Miami he has a YouTube account where he posts paranoid content. As of right now no deaths have been reported. Besides his own. (I think). His account is "James Yoo" if you would like more info on that.

ARLNOW has updated their page with more info on the situation.

Beirut Explosion (9 different angles) (Infos + Results)

On 4 August 2020, a large amount of ammonium nitrate stored at the Port of Beirut in the capital city of Lebanon exploded, causing at least 218 deaths, 7,000 injuries, and US$15 billion in property damage, as well as leaving an estimated 300,000 people homeless. A cargo of 2,750 tonnes of the substance (equivalent to around 1.1 kilotons of TNT) had been stored in a warehouse without proper safety measures for the previous six years after having been confiscated by Lebanese authorities from the abandoned ship MV Rhosus. The explosion was preceded by a fire in the same warehouse.

The blast was so powerful that it physically shook the whole country of Lebanon. It was felt in Turkey, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, and Israel, as well as parts of Europe, and was heard in Cyprus, more than 240 km (150 mi) away. It was detected by the United States Geological Survey as a seismic event of magnitude 3.3 and is considered one of the most powerful non-nuclear explosions on record.

Fire and first explosion

Around 17:45 local time (14:45 UTC) on 4 August 2020, a fire broke out in Warehouse 12 at the Port of Beirut. Warehouse 12, which was waterside and adjacent to the grain elevator, stored the ammonium nitrate that had been confiscated from Rhosus alongside a stash of fireworks. Around 17:55 local time (14:55 UTC), a team of nine firefighters and one paramedic, known as Platoon 5, was dispatched to fight the fire. On arrival the fire crew reported over the radio that there was "something wrong" as the fire was immense and produced "a crazy sound."

The moment of the explosion was captured during a BBC interview.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1711712663249399.webp

Collated time of arrival vs distance from analysis of social media video footage, with the best estimate (0.50 kt TNT) and reasonable upper limit (1.12 kt TNT) curves determined from regression analysis.

Despite inefficient transmission of the shock waves into the ground,[c] the United States Geological Survey measured the event as a 3.3 local magnitude earthquake, while the Jordan Seismological Observatory reported that it was equivalent to a 4.5 ML earthquake. A study of seismic signatures of the explosion by the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources in Germany produced a yield estimate between 0.5 and 1.1 kt of TNT.

An independent estimate by the International Monitoring System of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization based on infrasonic data obtained an explosive yield equivalent to 0.5–1.1 kt of TNT, making it the sixth-largest accidental artificial non-nuclear explosion in human history.

Damage

The damage from the blast affected over half of Beirut, with the likely cost above US$15 billion and insured losses at around US$3 billion. Approximately ninety percent of the city's hotels were damaged and three hospitals completely destroyed, while two more suffered damage. Dozens of injured people brought to nearby hospitals could not be admitted because of the damage to the hospitals. Windows and other installations of glass across the city were shattered.

Saint George Hospital University Medical Center before disaster

One of the city's largest medical facilities, was less than 1 kilometer from the explosion, and was so badly damaged that staff were forced to treat patients in the street. Four nurses died from the initial blast, fifteen patients died after their ventilators stopped working, and several child cancer patients were injured by flying glass. Within hours, after discharging all its patients and sending some to other facilities, Saint George Hospital was forced to close.

In the first week after the explosion, civilians gathered in hundreds to volunteer to clean up the debris on the streets and inside homes and businesses in Gemmayze, Achrafieh, and Karantina neighbourhoods. Many civil society organizations offered equipment and food to the volunteers, while many residents and businesses opened their homes and hotels for free to those who lost their homes in the blast.

On 6 August 2020, the Lebanese Forces Party's executive chairman Samir Geagea was the first politician to visit Beirut and launched from there a relief committee, Ground-0, under the leadership of the former minister Dr. May Chidiac to support in rebuilding Beirut. In December 2020, the committee achieved repairing 709 houses, assisted 5300 individuals and 2300 families, distributed 14000 food rations, made 2540 medical consultations, and provided 2030 individuals with medicine. In addition, the committee distributed more than 150 scholarships for Beirut schools' students.

CHILD WARNING [CW] Boston Marathon bombing

Motive : Revenge for American military action in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Three days later, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released images of two suspects. They were later identified as the Tsarnaev brothers, who were Chechen Kyrgyzstani-Americans. Following their identification, they killed an MIT policeman, then kidnapped a man in his car. They had a shootout with the police in nearby Watertown, during which two officers were severely injured (one of whom, Dennis Simmonds, died a year later). Tamerlan was shot several times, and his brother Dzhokhar ran him over while escaping in the stolen car. Tamerlan died soon after.

An unprecedented manhunt for Dzhokhar ensued, with thousands of law enforcement officers searching a 20-block area of Watertown. Residents of Watertown and surrounding communities were asked to stay indoors, and the transportation system and most businesses and public places closed. After a Watertown resident discovered Dzhokhar hiding in a boat in his backyard, the fugitive was shot and wounded by police before being taken into custody.

During questioning, Dzhokhar said that he and his brother were motivated by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, that they were self-radicalized and unconnected to any outside terrorist groups, and that he was following his brother's lead. He said they learned to build explosive devices from the online magazine of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. He also said they had intended to travel to New York City to bomb Times Square. He was convicted of 30 charges, including use of a weapon of mass destruction and malicious destruction of property resulting in death.

Two months later, he was sentenced to death, but the sentence was vacated by the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. A writ of certiorari was granted by the Supreme Court of the United States, which considered the questions of whether the lower court erred in vacating the death sentence. After hearing arguments as United States v. Tsarnaev, the Court upheld the death penalty, reversing the First Circuit Court's decision.

He is sorry for the children who were hurt

There isn't much for TL;DR this time - I tried to focus more on the content than the text this time. On 10th of October 2015, two explosions (within a few seconds from each other) interrupted the beginning of a peace rally in the centre of Ankara. It was about to begin two hours later. Death toll reached 109 victims, from a 9 yo boy to elder people, and a few hundreds people were wounded. From the 36 suspects facing the trial, in 2018 nine were sentenced for life, and nine other for varying sentences. The terrorists were tied to the Islamic State. I've skipped the political backstory, and only want to show you the human side.

If you just want to skip to the longest aftermath video, look for this: :marseyupvote: emoji.

⠀ATTACK :marseyinsurgent:

On Saturday morning on 10th of October 2015, a peace rally was taking place in the centre of Ankara. People gathered outside the main train station to protest against the violence between the Turkish authorities and the Kurdish militant group, the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party). PKK and the government have been fighting since a ceasefire agreement collapsed in July. The rally was planned for 12 AM local time. Shortly after 10 AM, when already hundreds of people gathered, two explosions interrupted the crowd, a few seconds apart.

The pro-Kurdish HDP party [Peoples' Democratic Party] was among those attending, and it said in a statement that it believes its members were the main target of the bombings.

HDP leader Selahettin Demirtas has blamed the state for the attack and has cancelled all election rallies. Mr Demirtas angrily condemned the government as "murderers" and said it had blood on its hands.

The party has previously blamed the government for colluding in attacks on Kurdish activists, which the government denies.

The two explosions happened shortly after 10:00 as crowds gathered ahead of the rally. Amateur video footage showed a group of young people holding hands and singing, before the first blast.

The mentioned video:

New photos were released in 2019, as well as the footage showing the route that the terrorists took. Video below (around 20 MB). The vehicle in which the bombs were transported was spotted on Mevlana Boulevard around 9;00 AM local time. I don't understand the rest from autotranslations.

It was a year after the sentencing took place. In general, 36 suspects faced trial. Here's the quote from AP News, 3rd of August 2018:

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — A Turkish court has sentenced nine Islamic State suspects to life in prison over their involvement in one of Turkey's deadliest terror attacks.

On Oct. 10, 2015, two suicide bombers believed to belong to a Turkish cell of the Islamic State group targeted a peace rally outside the capital's main train station, killing 102 people.

The state-run Anadolu Agency reported that the court convicted nine people Friday of charges of violating the constitutional order, murder and attempted murder for their involvement in the Ankara attack.

The Hurriyet newspaper reported that nine other defendants were convicted of membership in a terror group and sentenced to differing prison terms.

Families of the victims insist the attack was not thoroughly investigated and say officials who may be responsible for negligence have not been held to account.

⠀AFTERMATH :marseybloodpuddle:

The blasts were strong enough to rock nearby high-rise buildings. Witnesses claimed that instantly after the explosions, police used tear gas and didn't let the ambulances in, or tried to prevent carrying away the wounded. People also tried to attack the police cars.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17009506003340755.webp https://pomf2.lain.la/f/5in66p4.jpg https://pomf2.lain.la/f/18oaguo.jpg

Right after the explosions, around 20 bodies could be seen on the roadside, covered by the banners or flags. Early statements mentioned at least 86 victims. On Saturday evening, both the HDP party and the Turkish Medical Association gave a new estimate - 97 dead and at least 245 wounded.

Eventually, death toll raised to 109 victims. In BBC News, there was mentioned very approximately that more than 1,000 body parts were taken for forensic analysis. In this gallery, you can check the names and the photos of 103 victims. The youngest one was a 9 yo boy.

https://pomf2.lain.la/f/hjglp1hd.jpg

Aftermath video below, the most gore you will get in this post :marseyupvote: It's a few clips combined, around 4;30 min long. The cameraman walks around, you can notice some bodies and blood puddles, as well as the commotion, police, people performing CPR, crying and running around - everything you can expect from the aftermath of a terrorist attack.

Short aftermath video from The Guardian (not much gory):

Suicide Attack by Balochistan Rebel group, killed military officer, and several military personnel.

Pakistan, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, an event of profound significance unfolded in the city of Turbat, Balochistan, sending ripples through the region. A convoy of high-ranked Pakistani military officials was targeted in a suicide bomb attack, executed by the 2nd female fidayee (self-sacrificer) of BLA's Majeed Brigade.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17035422883367865.webp

The female attacker, Samia Baloch, made a suicide attack on a security forces convoy near the commissioner's office in Turbat City. According to the authorities, one police officer was killed, and two officers, including a woman constable, were injured.

Apart from other incidents of unrest, including bomb blasts, attacks on security forces have taken place in Turbat before, but this was the first suicide attack by a woman in the city.

A senior government official anonymously said the woman belonged to the Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17035422903641415.webp

Who was Samia Baloch?

According to the information released by the banned militant organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Samia Baloch belonged to the Tutak area of Khuzdar. She belonged to the Qalandrani tribe of Baloch. According to the information released by the outlawed BLA on the social media platform Twitter, Samia Baloch alias Sammo was 25 years old.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17035422859563673.webp

(picture of Samia Baloch)

BLA has claimed that Samia Baloch was associated with the Baloch Liberation Army for the past seven years, while four years ago, she volunteered her services to the organization's Majeed Brigade.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17035422860558708.webp

According to the information on the profile of Samia Baloch's alleged Twitter account and the details released by BLA, she was associated with the journalism profession and served in the organization's media wing for five years.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17035422870798464.webp

When a senior official of the Balochistan government was contacted regarding the identity of the suicide bomber and information about his area, he said that information was being collected about the suicide bomber, but she belonged to Tutak.

It should be noted that militant organizations in Balochistan have used female bombers to attack security forces for some time now.

In April 2022, a female bomber from Turbat, Shari Baloch, also attacked the van of Chinese citizens at Karachi University. Four people, including three Chinese citizens, were killed in this suicide attack.

Earlier, a woman named Noor Jahan Baloch was arrested by the security forces for planning a suicide attack in the Hoshop area.

According to the information released by the banned BLA, “Samiya Baloch was the fiancée of Rehan Baloch and the daughter-in-law of Aslam Baloch, the founding leader of BLA."

Rehan Baloch made a suicide attack on Chinese engineers and workers in August 2018 near Dalbandin, the headquarters of the Chagai district of Balochistan. Five people, including three Chinese workers, were injured in this attack.

The Chinese workers who were the target of this attack were going to Dalbandin from Sendak Copper and Gold Project in a bus.

"Several relatives of Samia Baloch forcibly disappeared"

The banned BLA claims that on February 18, 2011, security forces allegedly forcibly disappeared many relatives of Samia Baloch, including her grandfather, uncle, and cousins.

Mama Qadeer Baloch or Hulagu Khan, Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organization of relatives of missing persons from Balochistan, said they do not know who the suicide bomber is. However, on February 18, 2011, security forces conducted a major operation in the Tutak area. Around 15 people, including Muhammad Rahim Qalandrani, his sons, grandsons, and grandsons, enforcedly disappeared. He said Muhammad Rahim was over 70 years old when he went missing.

According to Mama Qadeer, not only were two people killed during this operation, but the tortured bodies of some of the missing persons were also found in Tutak in the aftermath. He said many people, including Rahim Qalandrani, are still missing from Tutak.

A female Baloch political activist said anonymously that the suicide bomber Samia Baloch was the granddaughter of Rahim Qalandrani.

"Banned organizations should not seduce Baloch women"

While talking to BBC, Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Longo said that when a woman is caught in such incidents, nationalist leaders and armed organizations will call it against the honor of Baloch and Balochistan's traditions. He said my question to Baloch nationalist leaders and armed organizations is why they use women for these tasks.

'Today, the body parts of this woman were scattered like this, does the honor of any Baloch bear the fact that the body parts of women are lying like this?'

He said that our security forces are fighting against terrorism, and it will continue till the end of the extremists. However, they appeal to their Baloch mothers and sisters not to be seduced by such people and not fall victim to their propaganda.

'Second suicide attack by Baloch women'

Since the deterioration of the situation during the regime of former President General Retired Pervez Musharraf, there have been several suicide attacks in Balochistan.

The outlawed BLA continued to claim responsibility for several of these attacks, but this was the second suicide attack by women from Baloch separatist organizations.

Earlier, Shari Baloch, a mother of two children from the Kech district of Balochistan, made a suicide attack at Karachi University. Four people, including three Chinese teachers, were killed in this attack at Karachi University.

The outlawed BLA has claimed that more Baloch women in the ranks of their Majeed Brigade carry out suicide attacks.

This incident is believed to have taken place in the city of Mosul.

During and after the recapture of the city from ISIS by Iraqi forces, civilian corridors were opened to allow families (mainly woman and children) to escape the the war zone.

Sadly, ISIS supporters would blend in with the civilians and carry out these sorts of attacks.
