Horrifying video footage shows the moment a Mexican mayoral candidate was shot dead while meeting voters - as her grieving son vehemently denied links to a drugs cartel.

Alma Barragán, 61, was campaigning in the Guanajuato city of Moroleón when gunmen opened fire and fatally wounded her.

'Sports have been abandoned', Barragán is seen telling her prospective voters in Spanish while another woman stood beside her.

The streets, all of us as citizens have abandoned for many years, the businesswoman added, right before she appeared to be struck by a

bullet.

At least 10 other shots were heard being fired, with the person who was filming Barragán dropping to the ground as the bullets flew.

The video footage was released and filmed by a person who attended the outdoors event.

On December 13th 2021 inside the parkway gardens housing block (O'Block) around 1:50PM two men would get into a fight rumored to be about money. this fight eventually escalated and sadly Avion Givens AKA (A.Roy, Alo, Askii Boy ALo) would be shot dead by an unknown assailant, The shooter fleed and is yet to be caught, due to witnesses not speaking to CPD theres not much evidence to prosecute anyone, The woman recording the video would later be jumped and beaten by several people for posting said video

In 2017, 15-year-old Federico Guevara shot up his classroom in Mexico before committing suicide. Teacher Cecilia Solís (the 2nd shot) passed away. All students survived.

Surprisingly, the first shot was Luis Fernando and he survived, although he's in a wheelchair.

The San Ysidro McDonald's massacre was an act of mass murder which occurred at a McDonald's restaurant in the San Ysidro neighborhood of San Diego, California, on July 18, 1984. The perpetrator, 41-year-old James Huberty, fatally shot 21 people and wounded 19 others before being killed by a police sniper approximately 77 minutes after he had first opened fire.

At the time, the massacre was the deadliest mass shooting by a lone gunman in U.S. history, being surpassed seven years later by the Luby's shooting.
