Appomattox, Virginia.

Virginia State Police said 65-year-old Karen Sauers, from Appomattox, Virginia, was killed in the accident. They said she drove up the intersection, saw the train coming, and attempted to position herself beside the tracks. Instead, she was pushed by the train. Emergency crews tried to save her by performing CPR, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Sauers was at fault and there will be no charges brought against the train conductor. State Police and Norfolk Southern have concluded that this was a suicide.

A physical altercation broke out between San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan's security detail and a pedestrian passing by 55 S 1st St. in downtown San Jose on Tuesday evening. Mahan, who was in the area for a restaurant opening, was in the middle of an interview with KRON4.

Video captured the entire altercation that escalated to violence. Watch the video in the media player above.

Suspect who fought San Jose mayor's security detail identified

Around the 55-second mark in the video, the pedestrian appears to land a right-hand punch to the security detail's head.

In the beginning of the video, a person is seen walking by Mahan's right shoulder before approaching the mayor's protective detail. The two are heard in a verbal exchange as Mahan tells the pedestrian he is in the middle of an interview.

The pedestrian then tells the security detail, who is a San Jose Police Department officer, to “mind your (explicit) business.” “I was going to do what the (explicit) I was going to do right before you walked up to me,” he said to the security guard.

Soon after, the altercation went from verbal to physical. The pedestrian is heard telling the officer that he will smack him.

The two struggled for a few minutes before bystanders helped the mayor's security detail. The pedestrian was eventually detained by SJPD officers.

I saw that one vid of a girl streaming and hitting her husband, then he hits her back and they start yelling and crying among other things. I also recently saw the Steven Crowder vid of him yelling at his wife who was really distressed by it and tried to defuse the situation but Steven kept going.

A man is now in custody after reportedly assaulting an Embark bus driver, causing the bus to crash into a building in NW Oklahoma City.

OKC Police say a couple of people on the bus were injured.

"The driver was injured and taken to a local hospital (with) minor injuries at this time, stable condition," said Lt. Jeff Cooper with OKCPD.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, they responded to an accident involving a bus running into a business off N. Western Ave. & Britton Rd. at around 2:20 on Saturday afternoon.

"When they arrived, they found that the subject actually assaulted the bus driver, causing him to leave the roadway and enter the Britton lumber building," Cooper said.

Police say a passenger on an Embark bus traveling south on N. Western Ave. asked the bus driver to let him off at the intersection near Britton & Western, and when the bus driver told him he could not do that, things escalated. "The suspect then began punching the bus driver in the face and removed him from the driver's seat," said Cooper, "This caused the bus to leave the roadway and run into the Britton Lumber business."

Oklahoma City Police say people were inside the business when the crash happened.

Cooper said, "There were two people inside Britton Lumber. They were on the other side of the building when the bus made contact with it, so they heard the collision, but they were not injured."
