On November 29, 2009, four police officers of Lakewood, Washington were fatally shot at the Forza (now Blue Steele) Coffee shop, located at 11401 Steele Street #108 South in the Parkland unincorporated area of Pierce County, Washington, near Tacoma. A gunman, later identified as Maurice Clemmons, entered the shop, shot the officers while they worked on laptops, and fled the scene with a single gunshot wound in his torso. After a massive two-day manhunt that spanned several nearby cities, an officer recognized Clemmons near a stalled car in south Seattle. When he refused orders to stop, he was shot and killed by a Seattle Police Department officer.

This is another messed up video, but compared to the rest it is not that bad. It shows a soccer game. This is a 2007 game between Cruz Azul and Tecos UAG, two Mexican professional soccer teams. The injured player is named Carlos Andrade. He was very badly injured in this incident, and his ankle was fractured. He was laid up for many months but has made a full recovery.

Halfway through the video, one of the players charges another player and tries to kick the ball away from him, but in the process, he somehow twists his ankle at a complete 90 degree angle!

It remains that way while he is on the ground. We then see a team on the ground attempting to deal with his injury. Next he is being carried off the field on a stretcher. His ankle is still twisted at an un-Godly angle, not really 90 degrees, but maybe 80 degrees or so.

I've never seen or even heard of an ankle twist that bad, but perhaps they are more common than one might think.

This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase twisting one's ankle!

This video is very strange. It was apparently taken in China recently, in Xuzhou city, and I don't have an exact date. The woman, in her 50's, is mentally disturbed or upset in some way, and possibly suicidal.

She has somehow managed to climb a utility pole in the middle of a very busy street in some huge Chinese city. It's simply incredibly how much traffic and sheer humans are on the street below. It looks like New York City, but when you realize there are cities like this all over China, you understand what the word overpopulation means.

Anyway, she is up there in broad daylight causing a scene and snarling traffic down below. She reaches out and touches one of the high-tension wires and gets a huge electricity shock. You can see it run from her hand through her arm all the way to her head. She seems to catch on fire for a second, but then it goes out. A while later, after the power has been cut off, the firefighters are climbing the pole to save her,

Curiously, she does not seem to be harmed too much by the shocks, and is still very much alive, though she has a nasty burn on her hand. Finally at the end she gets rescued, and we are told that she survived the episode with minor injuries.

SPIN BOLDAK, Afghanistan (Reuters) - A Taliban video of a 12-year-old boy beheading a man accused of spying has angered many Afghans, drawing condemnation from tribal and religious leaders.

“It’s very wrong for the Taliban to use a small boy to behead a man,” religious teacher Mullah Attullah told Reuters on Thursday.

“I appeal to the Taliban to please stop this because non-Muslims will think Islam is a cruel and terrorist religion.

“The Taliban do not follow the laws of Islam. They are taking advice from foreigners.”

The video released this week shows the boy in a camouflage jacket and a white headband using a knife to behead a blindfolded man accused of being a spy for foreign forces as men cry “Allahu Akbar! (God is Great)”.

The Taliban frequently behead suspected spies and often release video footage.

A tribal leader in the south, the Taliban’s heartland, said the beheading was un-Islamic.

“The Taliban are doing very bad things and it is against Islam to behead a man by a very young boy,” Haji Saeed Jan told Reuters.

“Islam does not allow anyone to behead any man. The Taliban show the wrong image of Islam to the world. We condemn this.”

In the border town of Spin Boldak, near Pakistan, a young man, Abdul Ghafur, was appalled by the footage.

“After I watched this, I could not eat any food for two days,” he said. Some television stations broadcast clips from the footage.

Taliban commander Mullah Hayatullah Khan said the Taliban would kill anyone helping foreign forces in order to protect their guerrilla fighters.

“We showed the beheading video to warn others,” he said by satellite phone from a secret location.

Asked why the Taliban used a boy, he said:

“We want to tell the non-Muslims that our youngsters are also Mujahideens (holy warriors) and fight with us against you.”

“These youngsters will be our Holy War commanders in the future and continue the jihad for freedom. Islam allow boys and women to do jihad against occupying non-Muslim troops and their spies and puppets.”

Last year was the bloodiest since U.S.-led forces ousted the Taliban in 2001 and many security analysts expect this year to be worse, with the Taliban and other militant groups bolstered by money from another record opium crop and the ability to shelter and train in Pakistan.

This is one of the latest shock videos making the rounds, though not many have seen it yet. It shows a man in India who is up on the roof of a train stopped at a train station. The man is mentally ill and possibly psychotic.

There is a huge crowd on the ground. The crowd down below is yelling at him to come down, but he pays them no attention. He leans down to grab the hands of some people on the ground a couple of times in an effort to try to climb down off the train, but these efforts seem to fail. Then he starts walking jauntily along the roof of the train for a few yards. There are high tension wires swaying up above.

At one point, he reaches up for some unknown reason, possibly to steady himself, and grabs the high tension wires. He is quickly electrocuted. His entire body catches fire, and he is quickly burned to a blackened crisp in a matter of seconds. Then you see some fluid pouring down the side of the train. Incredibly enough, that is his blood. When you get his by that much current, your blood literally boils and explodes out of your body.

At .35 and :44, you can see a guy attempting to hear what the dying man was trying to tell him, asking his family phone numbers, but the dying man do not wish to tell him.

At 2:25, another man say "co biet so khong?" which mean "do you know the number?" then presumably the man with the cell phone say "khong biet, bay gio ong khong, ong noi bay gio ong song lam gi nua" which mean "I don't know, the guy is not telling me, he say he doesn't want to live anymore"

at 2:34, another attempt was put forth to ask the dying man if he want to phone home "co so dien thoai khong, toi goi gium cho?" meaning "do you have a phone number, I'll make a phone call for you", but again was met with the man determination not wanting to.

starting at 3:04, a woman started talking and kept saying "cau chua gie su di em" until the end of the vids, which mean" pray to Jesus, he will save you" I find this very annoying and the most morbid part of the clip, because she kept telling him to do it, almost yelling at him.

at 3:55 he say that's he's going to die anyways, presumable so the woman would stop telling him to pray, but she kept on insisting, and yelling at him to do it.

The murder of Derrion Albert occurred on September 24, 2009 near Christian Fenger Academy High School on Chicago's South Side.

Reports and video footage indicate that Albert was caught in a brawl between two factions of students at Christian Fenger Academy High school, from two neighborhoods, Altgeld Gardens and The Ville. His death occurred after he was brutally beaten by several boys with pieces of a railroad tie. Police initially arrested four individuals, Silvonus Shannon, Eric Carson, Eugene Riley, and Eugene Bailey, who were charged with first-degree murder. Charges were later dropped against Bailey after further investigations.

By 2011, five individuals had been convicted of Albert's death and sentenced to varying terms in prison: Shannon, Carson, Riley, Lapoleon Colbert, and a minor whose name was not publicized.

The amateur video footage of the beating, obtained by Chicago television station WFLD, was widely broadcast in both traditional and online media. Largely resulting from the widespread circulation of this video, the story attracted much national attention within the United States, leading President Barack Obama to send U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan to Chicago to discuss youth violence with Mayor Richard M. Daley. Secretary Duncan was also interviewed by Anderson Cooper on the cable news channel CNN regarding violence in Chicago.

The murder and its subsequent coverage form an important part of the 2011 Steve James documentary The Interrupters, which profiles the work of the antiviolence organization CeaseFire. One of the earliest gore videos I can remember seeing involved a Russian/Slavic car accident in which an elderly couple crashed their car into the rear of a semi trailer. Unfortunately for them, this trailer just happened to be missing it's rear impact guard, resulting in the couple being decapitated. Only aftermath footage, vut pretty gnarly.
