Seattle police released new bodycam video Friday evening that shows the moments leading up to officers fatally shooting a suspected child predator at a Tukwila hotel earlier this week.
Seattle Police Department (SPD) Chief Adrian Diaz said the 67-year-old child predator suspect arrived at the DoubleTree Suites hotel around 3:13 p.m. on Wednesday under the impression that he was meeting two young girls, ages 7 and 11.
However, unbeknownst to the suspect, multiple SPD officers with the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce were undercover and waiting to arrest the man.
The newly released video shows the officers opening the door for the man, who immediately flashed a gun. A scuffle then occurred before police ultimately fatally shot the man. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Officials at the scene said a Seattle officer was grazed by a bullet on their leg during the shootout with the man.

OZONE PARK, Queens (WABC) -- A man wielding scissors was shot and killed by police in the Ozone Park section of Queens on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were responding to a home on 103rd Street after a mother called about her 19-year-old son acting erratically.
When officers arrived, they were confronted by the man who was wielding scissors.
NYPD officials say the officers attempted to take the man into custody and get him help, but instead, he pulled a pair of scissors out of a drawer and charged at the officers.
The officers initially fired their tasers at the man, in the living room kitchen of his second-floor home, but as his mother rushed to his aid, officials say "she accidentally knocked the tasers out of his body," rendering them ineffective
The suspect then picked up the scissors and came at the officers again, forcing them to open fire.
"It was chaotic, fast moving and they had to defend themselves," NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said.
The man who was shot was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The officers were not injured but were taken to an area hospital to be treated for ringing of the ears.

A woman wanted over a gun-related crime spree was run over and killed by police after opening fire on officers during a high-speed chase.
Madison Sueann Dickson, 21, died in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday after an officer deliberately hit her with his patrol car to stop her shooting at police.

The officer who struck her, Jonathan Grafton, has been put on paid leave while an investigation is carried out.
Dickson was wanted by police over four gun-related incidents in Tulsa during the past week, including shooting a man in the head.
Officers spotted her on Saturday at an apartment complex before she got into a pickup truck and fled with the driver.
She eventually jumped out of the truck and started firing at the officers when Grafton hit her with his vehicle.
Authorities said they had desperately tried to stop Dickson because of the threat she was posing.
She had every opportunity to stop and turn herself in,' police spokesperson Leland Ashley said.
Police said no one was struck by any bullets and Dickson died when she hit her head on the ground
The female driver of the truck was questioned and released.
Dickson had been accused of shooting a man in the head on Thursday night and causing him to crash his car. The man is in a critical condition in hospital.
She had also earlier shot a woman in the arm at a Walgreens store and fired her gun during a robbery at a Best Buy.
