A man was shot dead in a cafeteria in the Pompeia neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte (MG). The crime occurred shortly before midnight this Saturday (1).
According to security camera footage, two individuals arrived at the scene shooting. Police officers patrolling the region heard the shots and went to the snack bar, but the suspects managed to escape.
According to forensics, the man was hit with at least ten shots . With him, the police found money and marijuana. The motivation for the crime is still unknown.
Police reported that the 35-year-old victim was accompanied by three women. One of them left the place.
The other two said that they met the man a few days ago and that he had recently been released from prison, where he was serving a sentence of 11 years and four months.
According to the incident report, another man, who was there having lunch with his girlfriend and mother-in-law, was injured with two shots in the back.

Afternoon this Thursday, a judicial event occurred in which a young man identified as Maico Ochoa Sepúlveda, also known as 'Maikito', ended up dead.
Apparently, this person intended to rob his victims, who were inside a vehicle. However, when the robber pulled out his gun, he received several gunshot wounds, leaving him dead at the scene. Another of the alleged robbers was also injured.
The license plate of the truck that was the subject of the alleged robbery is KTK 774, from the municipality of Girón.
At the crime scene, in the San Pedro Alejandrino neighborhood, the 38 caliber revolver that the alleged robber had was left on the street.
When relatives of the victims arrived at the scene, they engaged in a confrontation with police officers, as recorded in a photo.
