On August 27, 2018, a criminal case occurred at night in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, China.
The incident involved Liu Hailong, who got into a dispute with Yu Haiming over a traffic dispute, and was killed by Yu when he struck Yu with a machete and lost his hand. The case was eventually dismissed by the local police as a case of self-defense.
The whole case:
At around 21:35 on August 27, 2018, Yu Haiming (wearing a white top and riding a bicycle) rode his e-bike home after work. At the same time, Liu Hailong (wearing a gray top and camouflage pants) was driving a BMW sedan, along with three other passengers. Liu was suspected of running a red light at an intersection, forcing his way right into the motorized lane and nearly colliding with Yu, who was riding his e-bike normally.
Liu's two passengers (a man and a woman) went down to talk to Yu first, and there was no conflict at that time, but Liu suddenly got out of the car, pushed and kicked Yu, and continued to chase Yu despite the advice of his friends, and Yu was forced to fight back.
Because of Liu's size (he is about 5'2" tall), Liu couldn't beat Yu with his bare hands.
Liu returned to the BMW and took out a 60cm machete from the front seat and began to hack Yu.
However, during the process, the machete was thrown away and Yu grabbed it and hack Liu five times within seven seconds. Liu found that the situation became worse and turned to run away, Yu continued to chase two knives but missed, one of which hit the BMW.
Yu went into Liu's BMW, took out Liu's cell phone and put it in his pocket, and gave Liu's cell phone and machete to the police when they arrived at the scene. According to Yu, he took Liu's cell phone because he was worried that Liu would call someone to seek revenge.
After Liu was cut, he ran to the other side of the grass and fell to the ground, his intestines flowed out and he died while wailing.
The case was eventually ruled by the court as self-defense, and Yu was not responsible for Liu's death.
The deceased, Liu Hailong, born in 1982 and nicknamed Brother Long (meaning Dragon Boss), was a member of the Tianan gang with a number of criminal convictions and had spent more than 10 years in prison.
The defender, Yu Haiming, born in 1977, worked in a restaurant and always rode his bicycle to and from work.

In a shocking incident that shook Turkey, a groom in Diyarbakır was subjected to gunfire during his wedding ceremony. The motive behind the crime was revealed to be Salah's resentment over the groom's marriage. Salah had also wanted to marry the same bride and had been rejected when he proposed to her about a year ago.
This isn't the first time such a heinous crime has occurred. Another incident on June 15, 2023, involved a massive brawl over wheat land ownership in the Bismil district. The dispute escalated to the point where security forces, the military, and air support had to intervene. The governor also arrived to restore peace and security in the area. The brawl resulted in the death of 9 individuals, with several others injured. The dispute centered around 200 acres of wheat land, some of which belonged to the state treasury. Following the intervention of Turkish forces, an investigation was launched, and several individuals involved in the incident were imprisoned. Numerous weapons were also confiscated.

Abattoir worker Kadir Bilen, 55, was in a bull pen in Suluova, Turkey when the animal repeatedly gored him with his horns as one of his colleagues desperately tried to open a gate to free. Kadir Bilen was backed into a corner by the raging animal before it repeatedly gored him with its horns. few seconds later, the bull backed off, leaving Kadir, 55, covered in blood in a heap on the ground. Several people rushed over to him and tugged on his arms, but they were unable to lift their limp colleague to his feet. Paramedics were called to the scene and gave the severely injured man first aid. Kadir Bilen was taken to hospital in nearby Amasya but ended up dying from his horn puncture wounds. The bull that attacked him was later slaughtered.
