The accident occurred on Monday 5th, in the Chapada neighbourhood, Central-West Zone of Manaus.

According to witness information, the woman identified as Eulina Costa, 47 years old, died after a car hit the motorcycle on Avenida Djalma Batistacausing, knocking her off her bike, only then to be hit by a bus.

The bus driver still braked his vehicle, but there was no time to avoid the hit-and-run. Emergency services were called, but the woman was already dead at the scene dead from massive head trauma. Her body was examined before being taken away for autopsy.

Police have yet to release the identify the bus driver who fled the scene on foot but was found and arrested.

Metro Nashville police released video footage of a shootout that injured an officer and killed a woman Friday morning.

East Precinct Officer Josh Baker was shot in the torso Friday morning while performing a traffic stop on a car whose owner was wanted on outstanding warrants. As of Friday night, he remained in stable condition after surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dash- and body-worn camera footage released Friday night by the Metro Nashville Police Department showed that around 9 a.m. while Baker was patrolling Brick Church Pike, he came across a black 2015 Chevrolet Camaro registered to Demond M. Buchanan, who was wanted on six outstanding warrants related to drug charges.

The car stopped in the parking lot of a Dollar General on Brick Church Pike, at which point Baker discovered that the driver was actually Nika Nicole Holbert, 31, police spokesman Don Aaron said. Holbert was not licensed to drive, Aaron said Saturday.

The officer then discovered what appeared to be marijuana and a white powder substance and attempted to detain her, at which point he requested backup officers, footage showed.

Baker's body-worn camera footage showed that he instructed Holbert to stop rifling through her bag and hand it over to him.

"Listen," he told her when Holbert went back to the vehicle. "Just come back here. I just think we're getting off on the wrong foot."

Baker explained to her that he pulled her over because the car's owner was wanted on several warrants. Holbert said she was alone in the car. Baker told her that his body-worn camera was recording audio and video of the incident.

Video footage showed that Holbert called someone, whom she identified as her mom, and said she needed to come to the scene. When Baker discovered the apparent drugs, he informed Holbert he was stepping away to place them in his police vehicle.

Things escalated when Baker attempted to detain Holbert. She grabbed her bag and ran away from the officer, who told her she was about "to get tased." He pulled out his stun gun, and the woman screamed and ran into the vehicle, at which point Baker deployed the weapon on her, video footage showed.

Seconds later, Baker took a step back and screamed at the woman "to put the gun down."

The footage showed the two exchanging gunfire. The shot that hit Baker's torso knocked him backward in the parking lot. He immediately called dispatch to inform them he had been struck. Aaron said Holbert threw the pistol into the parking lot, which was later discovered by investigators.

Holbert then drove the car away from the scene, soon crashing it in the bushes and ditch at the intersection of Brick Church Pike and Moorewood Drive. Emergency crews on the scene rendered aid to Holbert and took her to Skyline Medical Center, where she died.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 6th in the municipality of Paço do Lumiar, in Maranhão.

According to witnesses, he was riding pillion with a group who going at speed in the Pau Deitado neighbourhood, in the municipality of Paço do Lumiar, in Maranhão.

They tried in vain to administer CPR, but the young man was dead with a broken neck. His name has not been released.

Police and SAMU were triggered and his body consequently removed for autopsy.

The victim, identified as Raimundo Nonato, aka "Tufa Olho", was murdered in the early afternoon on Avenida Barão de Capanema, by person/s in a car, leaving him dead in the road with gunshots to his head.

According to information published on news portals in the city of Capanema, witnesses said that the crime occurred quickly and that they were unable to see those responsible, only reporting that they heard the shots and came across the dead victim laying dead in the road.

The victim, name not released was filmed checking a tyre, when it suddenly exploded in his face, the force knocking him to the floor. He received only minor facial injury, including a broken nose.

Deadly officer-involved shooting: Bodycam video shows suspect accused of running over construction worker, stabbing apartment manager

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department has released bodycam video of a deadly officer-involved shooting where a suspect was accused of fatally running over a construction worker and stabbing a Montrose apartment manager on April 5.

The deadly chain of events unfolded at the Hanover Autry Park apartment complex located on Buffalo Park Drive and Allen Parkway around 3:24 a.m.

The deadly events before the officer-involved shooting

Houston police said it all started when a man, identified as 27-year-old Ronnie Dwayne Cesear, Jr. approached a 67-year-old construction worker, Carrl Hayes, who was working in the area overnight.

Cesear stabbed Hayes with a butcher knife, then jumped into the victim’s truck and ran him over, police said. He then drove the truck into the lobby of the apartment building, got out and continued his rampage.

Still armed with the knife, Cesear charged at the building’s concierge who retreated to an office. A 51-year-old apartment complex manager confronted Cesear, who stabbed the man several times in the back, police said.

How the deadly officer-involved shooting unfolded

According to HPD, two officers arrived first at the scene and found a gray pickup truck driven through the lobby entrance and an injured man on the ground. When Cesear saw the officers, he turned and walked in their direction, still carrying the kitchen knife. Officers gave repeated verbal commands to the suspect to stop and “drop the knife,” but he ignored their commands and continued to approach.

Fearing for their lives, both officers discharged their duty weapons and struck Cesar more than once. The suspect fell to the ground and dropped the knife. He allegedly got up and attempted to flee on foot as officers gave him the demand to “get down.”

Officers followed him, deployed their Conducted Energy Device (taser) and were finally able to detain him as they called for an ambulance, police said.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Hayes dead. The apartment manager was transported to an area hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Cesear was also taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. The two responding officers were not injured.

The victim, named as Neiliane Carvalho dos Santos, aged 41, was returning from the gym accompanied by a friend, and when she arrived in front of her sister's residence, two criminals arrived and shot the victim before fleeing the scene.

From reports received, neighbours heard four shots, and it has not yet been confirmed how many hit the woman.

The initial suspicions are that the ex-husband has committed the crime of femicide. According to a relative of the victim, he has already threatened Neiliane.

The victim's body was taken to the morgue of Hospital Lázaro Reis, and the Leal Medical Institute (IML) was called to have her body removed for an autopsy.

According to the military police, there were two men on a motorcycle, and so far, the criminals have not been located.

The civil police of Manacapuru is already investigating the circumstances of this crime and is seeking more information about this case.
