A student of higher education institution (HEIs) was killed in an accident involving three vehicles at Kilometer (KM) 125.1 South North Expressway near Yong Peng, on Wednesday.
According to Batu Pahat District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ismail Dollah, the accident involved a Perodua Bezza car, a scania trailer and a Proton Waja car.
"Initial investigations revealed that the accident was believed to have occurred at 7pm on Wednesday, when the Perodua Bezza-type car was hit by two UTHM male students (University of Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia), Pagoh, who were 20 and 21 years old respectively, violated the back of the trailer truck a scania type guided by a 28 -year -old man.
"The collision caused, the Perodua Bezza car crashed into a roadblock before a 65 -year -old Proton Waja car coming from the same direction (Johor Bahru headed to Kuala Lumpur), not being able to brake (stopping vehicles) and then hit the Perodua Bezza car.
"As a result, Perodua Bezza's front passenger was killed at the scene while a trailer truck driver was injured and sent to Muar Hospital for further treatment," he said in a statement on Thursday.

Police are looking for a motorcyclist going against traffic resulting in a fatal accident at Kilometer 22.2 Ambassador-Klang Highway (SUKE) Hulu Klang here on Wednesday.
Ampang Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azam Ismail said further investigations were still underway to identify the identity of the motorcycle rider including researching closed -circuit camera (CCTV) footage at the scene to assist in the investigation.
The victim, Ahmad Fadzil Omar Azaddin, 64, was riding a Ducati Panigale motorcycle through a curved road, believed to be trying to avoid another motorcycle against the current.
The victim then violated the left side of the road, before being thrown and fell down the bridge at a height of about 30 meters.

San Nicolás, Mexico
A man died after suffering an accident when he was traveling aboard his motorcycle on Los Angeles Avenue in the municipality of San Nicolás.
The events were recorded at the intersection with San Nicolás Avenue in the Northern Colony, where the body of the man lying on public roads remained.
According to witnesses, two men were traveling aboard the motorcycle when they were reached by a truck which closed their way and ended up impacted against an electric power post.

Two Harley-Davidson riders were killed in an accident in Probolinggo. This is the chronology of the accident based on the testimony of citizens.
The victim's deaths were known to be of a married couple. Both were killed at the location.
In addition, three other victims were rushed to Tongas Regional Hospital after suffering minor injuries. The accident involved 5 vehicles namely two Harley-Davidson, the Yamaha Nmax motorbike and a Toyota Innova Reborn car.

A crane driver was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a truck driven by a senior citizen who made a U -turn at Kilometer 59.5 Klang Road - Teluk Intan this morning.
In the incident around 11.15am, the 35-year-old was killed at the scene.
Kuala Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Mohd. Ambia Nordin said investigations revealed that the accident occurred when the victim was riding a Yamaha Y15 motorcycle on his way from Kuala Selangor to Sekinchan.
He said upon arriving at the scene of the incident, a truck from the road had turned to the right and made a U -turn to Kuala Selangor.
“The close distance made the victim unable to dodge and break the right back of the truck.
"As a result of the accident, the victim was seriously killed at the scene and was sent to Tanjong Karang Hospital for autopsy," he said when contacted today.

The Honda car driver who was involved in an accident that resulted in the death of a lorry driver at Kilometer 46.8 of the North-South South Highway, made a police report at the Kulai police headquarters yesterday.
Kulai District Police Chief, Superintendent Tan Seng Lee said the 24-year-old driver made a police report at the Kulai District Police Headquarters Traffic Branch.
According to him, in the report, the car driver claimed that the lorry driver changed direction to cause the accident.
In the incident at 8.25am yesterday, a lorry carrying a load of frozen chicken driven by a 39-year-old victim was hit by the Honda car.
As a result of the collision, the truck overturned and hit a road divider before overturning.
The victim who was trapped in the vehicle, was confirmed dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda car, however, did not suffer any injuries.
Earlier, a video of another vehicle's dashboard camera recording the moment of the fatal accident went viral and received various reactions from the community because it depicted the opposite situation.

A 32-year-old woman died after being thrown from a motorcycle, which collided with another, at an intersection in Praia Grande , on the coast of São Paulo. The fatal victim was a passenger, who was riding pillion.
