HEMET, Calif. (KABC) -- The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has released video of a deadly confrontation with an armed man in Hemet.
The incident unfolded back in January after deputies responded to a report of a family fight at a home on Jepson Court. Authorities say the man had fired at them from inside the residence.
Video shows the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Anthony Ray Mix, carrying what authorities called an assault rifle. It shows him wearing body armour outside the home when he allegedly pointed the rifle at deputies, prompting them to open fire.
Mix later died at the hospital. No deputies were hurt in the incident.

I knew them a little myself, we are all from Krasnaya Glinka. Normal guys, basically still kids.
They loved various activities. They would go for a walk, to the beach, to drive around in a car.
The girl (Liza) was a very good student. She was working as a breakdance teacher in a local club.
I had never seen them drunk. Horrible tragedy.

A medicine for the flu: the unusual excuse of the driver who was driving drunk and killed a motorcyclist in Buen Ayre
Carlos Andrés Dip (43) is arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter.
The victim was 28 years old and died after being hit twice in the pileup.
happened near Ituzaingó. The victim was 28 years old. One of those involved in the accident was drunk and was detained. He is charged with manslaughter.
"He took a flu medication that made him drowsy ," was the unusual excuse of the driver of a Renault Sandero Stepway that caused a pileup this Thursday at kilometer 18 of the Camino del Buen Ayre.
Carlos Andrés Dip (43) was charged with manslaughter aggravated by reckless and negligent driving of a motor vehicle and with a blood alcohol level greater than one gram per liter of blood. Prosecutor Marcelo Tavolaro requested that the arrest be formalized by the Guarantee Judge, who must respond in the next few hours.
Dip first tried to overtake a Peugeot Partner without success, as he hit the left rear part of the car. For this reason, he lost control, crossed two lanes and ran over Pablo Ariel Santillán (28), who, due to the violence of the crash, flew through the air and crossed the guardrail. He fell into the wrong direction of the highway and was unintentionally hit by a Toyota Corolla.
Santillán died instantly and at this time the autopsy was being carried out so that the body could be delivered to the family.

Atlanta, Georgia — On May 18, 2022, Atlanta Police Officers were called to the Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse on the 3100 block of Piedmont Road after a 911 caller reported an unruly man armed with a gun. Officers arrived at the restaurant about 26 minutes later and found 22-year-old Nygil Cullins, sitting at the bar.
Cullins was reportedly a former employee of the business. Officers attempted to escort him out. Cullins was not cooperative and the encounter escalated to a physical altercation. An officer deployed his taser. However, the taser was not effective.
Cullins began heading toward the door of the business when he was tackled by a security guard. At that point, Cullins produced his gun and fired one round, striking the security guard. At least one of our officers then discharged their weapon, fatally striking Cullins.
The security guard was taken the the hospital in stable condition. No one else was physically injured during the incident. A federal lawsuit filed by Cullins family, stated that Cullins suffered such pain from the Taser that he tried to leave but was tackled by a security guard.
The family claims that the restaurant's security guard falsely portrayed Cullins as a physical threat, which led to the shooting. They are alleging inappropriate use of deadly force, negligence, and civil rights violations. They are suing the police officers who killed him, the city, the restaurant, the security guard, and the company the guard worked for.
