Video shows NY officer fatally shooting 13-year-old on ground. Police say he pointed a replica gun

NEW YORK (AP) — Video released late Saturday shows an officer in upstate New York fatally shooting a 13-year-old boy who had been tackled to the ground after he ran from police and pointed a replica handgun at them.

The teen was killed a little after 10 p.m. Friday in Utica after officers in the city about 240 miles (400 kilometers) northwest of Manhattan stopped two youths in connection with an armed robbery investigation, police said.

The youths, both 13, matched the descriptions of the robbery suspects and were in the same area at around the same time the day after, police said. One was also walking in the road, a violation of state traffic law.

The body camera video released by police captures an officer saying he needs to pat them down to ensure they don't have any weapons in their possession. Immediately one of the two, identified by police as as Nyah Mway, runs away.

Authorities froze frames of the video where a running Nyah Mway appears to point the gun at the pursuing officers. Police also edited the video to insert a red circle around the weapon to show it to viewers.

The officers believed it was a handgun, police said, but it was later determined to be a replica of a Glock 17 Gen 5 handgun with a detachable magazine.

"During a ground struggle" with the teen, one of the officers fired a single shot that struck the boy in the chest, Utica Police Chief Mark Williams said.

The teen was given "immediate" first aid by the officers and taken to Wynn Hospital, where he died, the chief said.

The replica gun carried by the teen "is in all aspects a realistic appearing firearm with GLOCK markings, signatures, detachable magazine, and serial numbers," Lt. Michael Curley, a police spokesperson, said via email. "However ultimately it fires only pellets or BB's."

A bystander video posted to Facebook shows one of the officers chasing after Nyah Mway and tackling him to the ground. It also shows the officer punching the teen as two other officers arrive. A gunshot rings out as the teen is on the ground and the officers quickly stand up.

The officer who fired his gun was identified as Patrick Husnay, a six-year veteran of the agency. Husnay and Officers Bryce Patterson and Andrew Citriniti were placed on administrative leave with pay.

The police body camera video shows a chaotic scene.

Nyah Mway points the replica handgun at the officers while he runs from them. The officers scream "gun!" to each other as they run. Patterson then tackles and punches Nyah Mway, and as the two are wrestling on the ground, Husnay opens fire.

Officers initially thought Nyah Mway may have shot himself, and Patterson says, "I don't know if he shot me." It is not clear whether he is referring to Nyah Mway or his fellow officer. Patterson was not struck.

Bystanders scream at the police throughout the recordings, and at one point an officer yells back: "We're trying to save him right now!"

7 February 2023

The Milwaukee Police Department on Thursday released redacted bodycam footage of the fatal shooting that left officer Peter Jerving and Milwaukee resident Terrell Thompson dead.

As a second officer is caught in a physical struggle with Thompson, the footage shows Jerving run up to the two to assist in the arrest. Thompson draws a gun and fires at Jerving, forcing him to retreat. But Jerving then runs back again to help.

It's then that both men exchange gunfire, at perhaps point-blank range, killing each other. Both Jerving, 37, and Thompson, 19, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Jerving was the fifth Milwaukee police officer to die in the line of duty since 2018, and the first since 2019. He was a four-year veteran of the department and was assigned to District Four on Milwaukee's northwest side, where he grew up.

He was lauded by colleagues, friends and family for being a dedicated officer and a thoughtful, caring person outside work as well.

Hours before the shooting, Thompson was in court for sentencing on two misdemeanor hit-and run cases, one of which was dismissed in a plea agreement. He received a year of probation.

His mother, Tamera Brown, told the Journal Sentinel at the time that she was in disbelief about her son's involvement in the shooting and said Thompson seemed to be fine after receiving his sentencing.

The second officer is not named in the video. The wife of Jerving's usual patrol partner of four years told the Journal Sentinel in February that both men were trаining new officers the night of the shooting.

The second officer never fired his weapon and was not placed on administrative duty, according to police.

An investigation into the incident, led by the Brookfield Police Department, remains ongoing, police said. It will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

The video released Thursday via YouTube is just over eight minutes long and includes limited and edited body camera footage from Jerving and the second officer. Together, they tried apprehending Thompson in the early morning hours of Feb. 7 in connection with an armed robbery that occurred less than two hours beforehand.

The video is accompanied with narration by Assistant Chief Paul Formolo.

According to the video:

Shortly after an armed robbery was reported at 11:31 p.m. Feb. 6 on the 2600 block of West Good Hope Road, Jerving and the second officer identified Thompson as a suspect.

The video includes a radio broadcast Jerving made to other officers sometime after the incident was reported. He identifies Thompson as the suspect and circulates a description of him and of the incident: a man reportedly smacked car keys and a phone out of a woman's hand and made off with her car and phone.

Formolo said Jerving and the second officer later received information that Thompson was possibly in the area of the 2700 block of South 14th Street, on the city's south side.

When they arrived, around 1:14 a.m., they located the stolen vehicle in a parking lot with a man and woman inside. As police approached, the two exited the car and walked toward an apartment building.

Jerving immediately calls out to the man: "Terrell! Terrell! Don't make us run." The woman stops and raises her arms in the air, but officers continue walking after Thompson until he turns a corner and runs.

The two officers give chase, splitting up as they wind through several buildings.

After Thompson slips on some snow, the second officer catches up with him and a physical struggle ensues. As Jerving arrives and approaches the two, body camera footage shows Thompson producing a handgun.

A gunshot is heard.

"Whoa, (expletive)," Jerving yells.

He retreats and falls down as he does. Two more gunshots are heard.

"Stop!" Jerving said.

The video trаnsitions to footage from Jerving's body camera. Jerving reports shots are fired over the radio. His own handgun is visible as he runs back toward Thompson and the second officer, who are still struggling with each other.

Once Jerving is within arm's reach of the two, another shot is heard and Jerving begins crying out in pain.

At some point, Jerving also returned fire. Both his and Thompson's handguns were recovered afterward. A photo shows Thompson's had an extended magazine.

CHILD WARNING A woman and her nieces get hit by a speeding car, killing them all, June 24, 2024 (Description Included)

In a tragic accident, a woman and her two nieces were killed after a speeding car ran over them in Uttarakhand's Tehri.

The accident occurred in Tehri's Bourari area at around 7 pm on Monday by a car allegedly driven by Jakhnidhar's block development officer, the police official said on Tuesday. The accident was recorded in a nearby CCTV camera. The footage showed a white car hit so impactfully that the victims jumped and fell far away.

According to JR Joshi, Tehri's Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), deceased Reena Negi (36) was taking a walk with her two nieces namely Anvita Negi and Agrima Negi. While Agrima was 11 years old, younger Anvita was merely 7 years of age. While they were on a walk on Palika Karyalaya Road on Monday evening, the speeding car of Jakhnidhar's BDO DP Chamoli knocked them down. ASP Joshi further said that BDO Chamoli was driving the car at the time of the accident and was subsequently arrested by the police. He added that Reena died on the spot while the kids were rushed to the hospital and were declared dead upon her arrival. Speaking about the accident, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr Amit Rai said that two other people sustained injuries in the accident and were currently receiving treatment at the district hospital.

The images are shocking. When he refused to stop at the request of a police officer, a man in a motorized wheelchair, armed with a knife, was shot nine times at the entrance to a Walmart in the city of Tucson in the USA. The officer, who was not on duty that evening but was supposed to act as security guard in the store, was warned by an employee that the victim was suspected of stealing a toolbox. "According to the employee, he caught up with Mr. Richards outside as he fled and asked him for the receipt for the toolbox. Instead of giving the ticket, Mr. Richards pulled out a knife and said, 'Here's your ticket,'" reports Chris Magnus, the city's police chief.

In footage captured by another officer's body-worn camera and made public by the Tucson police chief, the officer, Ryan Remington, can be heard repeatedly asking the disabled individual to stop. Faced with the latter's refusal, he fired. The victim's behavior "left him no other choice" than to use his weapon, his lawyer told the New York Times. "I am deeply disturbed by the actions of Officer Remington. His lethal use of force during this incident is a clear violation of the rules of our department," responded Chris Magnus on the occasion of a press conference the day after the events. The Tucson police chief also announced that termination proceedings had been initiated against the officer.

Chechclear (Highest Quality!)

I obtained this footage from a DVD rip of a Russian documentary about the First Chechen War, "Чечня ХХ век. Террор." or "Chechnya 20th century. Terrоr." It was released in 2002.

This documentary also contains what is most likely the highest quality footage of OFEX up to date.

Funnily enough, the user on VK that posted this DVD rip appears to be a porn spam channel.

For more information on the documentary and to see the documentary itself: https://watchpeopledie.tv/h/execution/post/185852/a-1-hour-documentary-about-the

I would love to thank @I_farted, the greatest Jеw alive, for giving me information on the documentary and chechclear itself which led me into finding this, love you vro
