The teacher identified as Klabin do Rosário Almeida, 52 years old, was shot and killed on Saturday afternoon (13), during the robbery of a commercial establishment on Travesa 14 de Março, between Avenida Conselheiro Furtado and Avenida Gentil Bitencourt, in the Nazaré neighborhood, in Belém. According to initial information, the victim was teaching automotive aesthetics students in the location targeted by the criminal action.

The teacher and students were surprised by the arrival of suspects who had firearms. The images from the establishment's security cameras show people frightened by the arrival of the suspects, who order the victims to lie down on the floor. As Klabin puts his hand on his head and kneels, one of the suspects shoots towards him and hits him in the head.

One of the students at the scene was a police officer and pulled out his gun when he saw the dead teacher. The PM fired shots at the suspects and managed to hit one of them in the arm. The two robbers ran to the motorcycle they arrived on and managed to escape. The students tried to help the teacher and rushed him to the emergency room on 14 de Março, where he was admitted in serious condition, but succumbed to his injuries and died hours later.

This happened back in August 14th of 2022. There was a bit of a drought in Texas around that time. It had barely rained and the roads were slippery. A Russian airstrike hit the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city of Kharkiv at about 4 AM local time. Ukrainian sources claim a wave of 32 Geran drones, 3 S-300 ballistic missiles, 2 Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles, and 1 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missile. Air defenses claimed to have shot down 28 Gerans, both Kh-101s, and the Kalibr. Please note these are total figures for the whole of Ukraine, not all aimed at Kharkiv.

Ukrainska Pravda currently puts the casualty figures from the strike at 7 fatalities, 11 injuries.

One question the Ukrainian sources seem unable to answer is why there are two destroyed Uragan MLRS units at the epicenter of the strike, and what this military hardware was doing parked in a civilian area.

The body of a woman, Rosana da Silva Prado, was found in the last row of a movie theatre at the Iguatemi Shopping Centre. It appeared Rosana, who worked as a nurse, had cut herself on the throat and her left femoral artery while the movie was playing. No one else noticed, and it was only after the movie ended and the theatre was being cleaned for the next showing that her death was noticed. A 30cm-long butcher knife was found on the seat next to her.

As usual with Brazilian crime scenes, there was speculation that the case was a murder, but the police ultimately believed it to be a suicide. Since Rosana worked as a nurse, it is likely she knew how to both efficiently kill herself with the knife, and to access painkillers to null the pain.

Terrifying moment an out-of-control Mercedes-Benz smashed into vehicles and passersby at an intersection, killing four and injuring 13 in eastern China's Hangzhou City on July 30.

In the CCTV clip, a Mercedes-Benz can be seen speeding across a busy road, smashing into a shelter and a black car.

Four roads are blocked and dozens of police officers are sent to the site to maintain order.

Injured people are lying on the ground, waiting for rescue.

According to reports, the Mercedes-Benz lost control after a malfunction in the vehicle.
