The incident occurred in Abrau-Durso. A KamAZ truck was driving through the center of the village, when suddenly one of its tires exploded, and the second one flew off and drove down at breakneck speed. A few seconds later it carried away a woman and a man who were standing on the road and wanted to get into their car. Another car was able to stop it; it crushed the door.

The injured woman immediately fell to the asphalt and was later hospitalized with serious injuries. The man has several bruises.

Aftermath:

On 11 January 2023, the driver of a black BMW X3 deliberately rammed his vehicle into a crowd of pedestrians and motorists on Tianhe Road in Guangzhou, China, killing six people and injuring 29 others. 22-year-old Wen Qingyun was arrested in connection to the attack, sentenced to death, and subsequently executed on 19 April 2024.

The crash took place on Wednesday during the evening rush hour at a busy junction in the southern city of 19 million.

"He deliberately drove into the people who were waiting for the traffic light. He rammed the car into them maliciously. After that, he made a U-turn and hit people again," an eyewitness told local outlet Hongxin News.

"He wasn't driving too quickly, but some people couldn't run away in time because they wouldn't have known he was hitting people deliberately."

The man also reportedly drove into a traffic police officer and his motorcycle, but the officer managed to escape.

One widely circulated clip shows a young girl lying on the ground at the scene of the incident, while a woman said to be her mother is seen by her side wailing.

Another eyewitness described the chaos of the aftermath on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter. The person said that an hour after the incident, the site was still filled with ambulances and traffic police "and they had not moved all the injured and the bodies from the scene".

"The scene was too tragic and I couldn't bear seeing it. I felt so sad that I wanted to throw up whenever I heard the siren of the ambulance," the person said.

The incident has sparked public anger, with many expressing sorrow that it happened in the lead-up to Chinese New Year, a time for family reunions.

"The victims could be a girl who dressed up meticulously to go on a date… It could be a food deliveryman who earned five yuan after rushing an order. It could be a father who wanted to go home and have dinner with children. It could be a child who was happily shopping," one Weibo user wrote.

Many noted that the man drove a luxury car and had thrown money into the air, and asked if he came from a rich and powerful family.

The incident quickly became a trending topic on Weibo on Wednesday, but it later disappeared from the "hot searches" list, leading users to accuse the platform of censorship.

There have been similar recent incidents. In February 2022, a driver ploughed a mini truck into people in the southern province of Fujian, killing three and injuring nine.

Earlier this week, a hotel guest in Shanghai deliberately drove his car into the lobby following an argument with staff. Nobody was injured in that incident.

NEW YORK — A horrifying new video shows the moment a pedestrian was ran over twice in Queens on Saturday night.

Dashcam video of the incident shows a white SUV first knock the person over as they crossed the street at the corner of Cypress Avenue & Cooper Avenue. A black truck tailing the white SUV then runs over the pedestrian's head, the footage shows.

Whether the vehicles involved stopped and pulled over following the disturbing accident is unknown.

No further details about the incident or the victim's condition were released at the time of this report. (Won't be hard to assume if you have eyes)

The final moments of a car crash that resulted in a talented South African actor and musician being flung to his death were captured on video.

Thabang Sidloyi, best known for his staring role in the Irish/South African feature film The Good Man, was a passenger in his car which was being driven by a friend when it smashed into a wall on the N2.

A young woman, identified as Gabriela Oliveira, 18 years old, eight months pregnant, died after being run over by a runaway kombi while she was walking along a sidewalk. The victim was accompanied by her husband, Leonardo dos Santos, who survived the accident. The baby that the young woman was expecting also did not resist. According to SBT News, the case happened in the east zone of São Paulo, in the early hours of Sunday (20).

A surveillance camera captured the entire incident. The information says that the couple had left a cellar in Itaim Paulista. The two were walking on the sidewalk, when the vehicle approached at high speed. Then it left the track and violently hit the couple.

Leonardo became unconscious and when he returned to consciousness, he despaired when he saw the state of the woman. He sent an audio to a family member where he explained that Gabriela was being rescued and that the Kombi had lost control and was thrown at them.

The police responded to the incident and reported that the driver of the Kombi would have noticed a mechanical problem and lost control of the vehicle. The car still collided with the door of a commercial establishment.

SBT News said that Gabriela suffered a cardiac arrest and Leonardo had fractures in his legs and back. The two had been married for just over a year and were looking forward to the arrival of their first child, who would be named Ravi Lucca. The Kombi driver was injured and taken to a hospital.

Still according to the information, the young woman, a year ago, had lost a baby and was making plans for the new child.

Mark Niver, thirty-year veteran of Top Alchol Dragster racing, lost his life at the NHRA Northwest Nationals at the Seattle International Raceway, formerly known as Pacific Raceways, in Kent, Washington, United States.

It happened on Sunday, 11 July 2010. After crossing the finish line Niver deployed his dragster's parachute but the chute was ripped from the car, sending it into the catch netting at the end of the shutdown area with enough force to buckle the cars chassis back into the drivers cockpit. Niver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Briggitte Nicole Martínez Córdova died after a traffic accident on the afternoon of Saturday, May 4, in the El Carmen citadel, in Huaquillas, in El Oro.

According to preliminary reports, Martínez and her companion were traveling on a black motorcycle without a helmet when they crashed into a truck at the intersection of Guayas and Camilo Ponce Enríquez streets, in the border canton.

The driver of the truck accelerated to leave the scene after the crash. The motorcycle was completely destroyed on the road, while the two women lay on the ground.

Ambulances from the Ministry of Public Health and the Fire Department responded to the accident site and provided medical care to the victims. Unfortunately, Martínez suffered fatal injuries and was taken to a health center, where her death was confirmed.

It was learned that Martínez worked in the municipal GAD and was the daughter of Colonel Luis García, chief of the Pasaje District National Police, in the El Oro subzone.

Furthermore, the victims of the accident had participated in a medical brigade organized by the Municipality of Huaquillas and were heading home when the tragic event occurred.
