A woman died when the car she was driving hit the back of a container lorry at Kilometer 249.9 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS), heading south near the Senawang Rest and Treatment Stop (RnR) entrance, here yesterday.
The video of the accident from the dashboard camera of the Perodua Ativa went viral on social media today.
According to Seremban District Deputy Chief of Police, Superintendent Mohd Rosli Ishak in the incident at about 7.45am, a 30-year-old woman was confirmed dead at the scene of the incident due to severe head and body injuries.
"Preliminary investigations found that the accident occurred when a Perodua Ativa car driven by the victim was traveling from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) towards Melaka alone.
"Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, the victim's vehicle is suspected to have lost control and hit the rear of a Volvo type container lorry driven by a 43-year-old man," he said, here, today.
Mohd Rosli said that at that time the container lorry was stopped on the right side of the Senawang RnR crossing while waiting for its turn to park the heavy vehicle which was still full of vehicles.

The drag circuit continues to be a field of death for racers when the latest case involving the Malaysian Drag Bike National ET Record Championship 2023 Road Tour 2023 participant died after fighting for his life for more than 12 hours due to an accident.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Hattem Rashdi, was involved in an accident on the first day of the race at 1am last Sunday in Pekan, Pahang, after the motorcycle he was riding crashed.
Hattem, representing ESR Motor, was taken to Pekan Hospital for further treatment before being transferred to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA), Kuantan as his condition worsened.
According to the Owner of ESR Motor, Adib Affandi Mohamad informed that Hattem was confirmed dead at 2.30 pm today and his remains will be taken to his hometown in Alor Janggus, Kedah for burial.
"The deceased was a talented drag racer and has been a rider for ESR Motor for the past two years.
"It is understood that the machine that the deceased was riding had a technical problem before it crashed," he said when contacted by Arena Metro.

Two died while seven others were injured in an accident involving six vehicles in Persiaran Utara, here this morning.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department said that the incident was detected at about 10.20 this morning in Persiaran Utara towards Precinct 12.
According to him, the incident involved two trucks, two cars and two motorcycles.
"A fire engine from Fire and Rescue Station Precinct 7 and Precinct 14 with a strength of nine members rushed to the scene of the incident.
"An Emergency Services Assistance Unit (EMRS) was also rushed to the scene of the incident," he said when contacted today.

A man died after the vehicle he was driving skidded before colliding with a lorry near Jalan Kuantan - Kemaman, Cherating, Pahang on Thursday evening.
The incident, which is understood to have happened at a corner near the resort, Club Med Cherating, was also recorded through the dashboard camera of the lorry involved.
Based on the clip, a white Perodua Axia vehicle driven by the victim was seen skidding and entering the opposite road before colliding with a lorry that was passing through the said route.

A secondary school student died after the motorcycle he was riding lost control and hit a trailer on Jalan Muar-Yong Peng near here on Friday.
Batu Pahat District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ismail Dollah said, the incident at 5.30pm involved a Yamaha 125Z motorcycle ridden by the teenager and a trailer carrying a new vehicle.
"Preliminary investigation results found that the accident is believed to have occurred when a 17-year-old boy from Kukup, Pontian came from the direction of Yong Peng to Batu Pahat."
"Arriving at the scene, the victim's motorcycle suddenly lost control and entered the opposite lane and hit a trailer."
"The trailer was carrying a new vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man from Felda Sungai Koyan 1, Pahang," he said in a statement on Saturday.
He said, as a result of the accident, the victim, Muhammad Danial Ikmal Dinee, was seriously injured in the face and head.

A construction worker believed to be Bangladeshi died after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car at the Sungai Layar-Semeling four-way traffic light intersection on Jalan Lencong Barat here yesterday.
In the incident at about 10pm, the victim, Mung Faruq Noorsalam, aged in his 40s, died at the scene due to severe injuries to his limbs.
Kuala Muda District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Adzli Abu Shah said, the incident occurred when the victim was riding a Modenas Kriss motorcycle from the direction of Semeling to Sungai Layar while the Proton Pesona was driven by a 20-year-old man from the direction of Sungai Petani to Laguna Merbok.
"The accident is believed to have occurred when the victim violated a red traffic light and moved forward recklessly while at the traffic light intersection.
"The victim's motorcycle was then hit on the right side by a moving Proton Persona car after the traffic light turned green," he said here today.
He said the strong impact of the collision resulted in the death of the victim at the scene of the accident while the driver of the car did not suffer any injuries.

A fatal accident between a motorbike and a trontoon truck occurred on Jalan Colonel Sugiono, Malang City on Saturday (27/4/2024) morning. The accident resulted in the motorbike rider, a resident of Mergosono, dying at the scene.
Head of Malang City Police Traffic Unit Gakkum, Ipda Isrofi, said that the accident involved a TVS NEO motorbike with registration number N 5259 EN driven by Buamin (66), a resident of Mergosono, Malang City with a Hino tronton truck with registration number N 9436 UU driven by Yulianto (38), resident Tegal Regency.
Initially, the victim was riding a motorbike walking from east to west at around 06.00 WIB. At that time, the victim was about to turn right or north on the road. However, unfortunately the victim was hit by a trontoon truck which was traveling from south to north.
It is known that the victim's body was dragged by the rear wheel of the tronton truck for several meters. This resulted in serious injuries to the victim's chest.

The rickshaw driver died after being crushed by the wheels of the truck
rickshaw driver named Sujan Mia (32) died after being hit by a truck in Sreepur, Gazipur.
The accident took place in front of the Mauna Fire Service Station on the Mauna Kaliakair road of the upazila on Thursday (April 25) morning.
Deceased Sujan Mia (32) is the son of Zainal Mia of Kwa Paschim Khand Karitala area of Sreepur Municipality. He earned his livelihood by driving rickshaws.
Citing relatives of the deceased and eyewitnesses, Deputy Inspector (SI) of Sreepur police station Helal Uddin said that Sujan Mia took a rickshaw out on Thursday morning like every day. He was going to Mauna Bazar from the intersection with a female passenger . A Kaliakoi-bound truck rammed in front of Sujan's rickshaw while taking a u-turn to the north after reaching the fire service station on the Mauna-Kaliakoir road. When Sujan fell on the road, he was crushed by the wheels of the truck.
Sujan Mia died on the spot. At that time, the passenger sitting in the rickshaw was completely healthy. According to locals, the truck and the driver were detained by the crowd. But the truck was found at the spot but the driver was not found.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sripur Model Police Station Akbar Ali Khan told Jayzadeen, "The police were sent to the spot after receiving the information. Joremer David, a resident of Barangay Calizo, Balete town, succumbed to fatal head injuries.
