Motorcyclist crashes into car and dies
A motorcyclist died after crashing into a vehicle in an accident on the road leading to Lui Selatan, here, this afternoon.
In the incident at about 5.10pm, the victim, Den Jahoring, 25, a furniture factory worker in Seremban, was confirmed dead by the paramedic team that arrived at the scene.
According to Jempol District Police Chief, Superintendent Hoo Chang Hook, the accident involved a Perodua Viva car driven by a 38-year-old man and a Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle ridden by the victim.
"It is believed that the motorcyclist was overtaking the vehicle in front of him and then a car came from the opposite direction and did not have time to avoid and collided in front of the car in the legal lane.
"As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and died at the scene," he said in a statement today.
Chang Hook said again, the driver of the car suffered a head injury and received treatment at Jempol Hospital.

A motorcyclist, Oliver Collins called ‘Blacka’, 26, of Buxton, East Coast Demerara yesterday succumbed to his injuries following an accident on the Vigilance line top, East Coast Demerara.
According to eyewitnesses, ‘Blacka’ was hit by a speeding car that was attempting to overtake a truck. As a result he suffered severe injuries.
The driver of the car is currently in police custody

TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.- A man was killed by a vehicle in the 15 de Septiembre neighborhood of Tegucigalpa, in the Honduran capital, after allegedly assaulting some citizens in that sector.
The deceased, who was wearing light blue jean pants, black tennis shoes and a sweatshirt of the same tone, was lying on the motorcycle in which he was allegedly driving at the time of the robbery.
According to the versions of the witnesses, the alleged criminal would have taken advantage of the fact that a 23-year-old young man was getting into his vehicle to point his gun at him and ask for his belongings, for which the victim, intimidated, agreed to give him everything.
But when he was about to flee and the young man was already inside his car, he backed up with the aim of preventing the thief from escaping, but he ended up running over him and taking his life.
Agents of the National Police and the Public Order Military Police guarded the area.

A firearm was left at the scene with which the now deceased allegedly assaulted citizens.
A woman, who claimed to be the mother of the young man who ran over the alleged thief, told the HCH channel that her son was picking up a parcel, when the criminal approached him to take what he was carrying, in view of that, his son tried to defend himself.
“The boy came to bring a package to one of these houses and as he was getting into the vehicle he did not miss an opportunity and put the gun to his head and my son struggled with him, but he always took his cell phone and wanted to take it away. the watch, but my son did not leave, then, when he was lost, (the criminal) told him that he was going to kill his family and my son was afraid and backed away and (the thief) was left in the middle of the two cars. From the blow, it was like he drowned and nobody wanted to touch him, ”said the female.
The woman also assured that the nearby business owners complained that the deceased was the same person who had committed several robberies in the area some time ago and indicated that at the time of protecting the scene several cell phones were found in his pockets.
For his part, a commissioner of the National Police who arrived at the crime site said that the corresponding investigations will be carried out, to determine if the version released is correct or if the events occurred in another way.
The authorities hope that the security cameras in the area will help to clarify the crime.
At the moment, the driver of the tourism-type vehicle remained in custody for investigation purposes.
