The man who was shot and killed over the weekend by officers with the Fresno Police Department was identified on Monday. Maximiliano “Max” Sosa Jr, 33. was the person officers say brandished a pair of scissors at them and made it known he wished to end his life. On Saturday morning, police were called to a home in the 5500 block of North Dante in northwest Fresno to check on a person who claimed to be suicidal. Officers say they were able to speak with the man upon their arrival, but following their interaction, he allegedly accelerated the vehicle he was driving and pointed the car in their direction – before getting away. He returned a short time later. Investigators say there was a victim at the home who told them the suspect was suicidal and under the influence of alcohol. Officers say the man then wielded a pair of scissors in their direction as they tried to de-escalate the situation. Officers first tased the suspect, then fired their service weapons at him – killing Sosa.

Keiner Enrique Blanco Mercado was chatting on WhatsApp while waiting for his turn in a barbershop along with other clients when the hitman appeared and shot him at point-blank range without saying a word.
It was 7:47 p.m. on the night of Saturday, March 4. The attack on the second floor of a two-story building in the Olaya Herrera neighborhood, between the sectors El Progreso and Central, near the so-called "Cuartelillo", was recorded on a security camera.
In the videos, Keiner can be seen with his cell phone sitting on a bench, facing the stylists, when the gunman enters the business and at once goes towards him.
Blanco Mercado reacted when he saw the subject and tried to run towards the patio, but the assassin was always behind him while shooting at him. There were more than 8 shots. While trying to protect himself, another of the customers who was running next to Keiner was shot in the abdomen. Another one was also wounded. The attack was in fraction of seconds. After finishing off his victim on the floor, the hitman ran with the gun in his hand towards the front door of the barbershop, named "Milan Barbershop".
The two injured were taken by their own means to the CAP of Olaya Herrera, near the site of the incident, on Pedro de Heredia Avenue. They were identified as: José Gregorio Narváez Mercado and Rafael Santos Mercado Cera. Keiner was also taken to this medical center, but the efforts of the doctors were in vain.

Divinópolis, Brazil

A 39-year-old man was shot in the face and died in front of the Divinópolis Exhibition Park, just a few meters from the circuit where the Pre-Carnival parades passed. The crime happened in the early hours of the morning, when a concert was taking place inside the Exhibition Park - the victim was surprised by gunmen in front of a crowded bar. There was a rush and many people were frightened by the shots. Despite the large number of police officers on the scene, the bandits were not intimidated.
There are reports that messages had been circulating on WhatsApp groups for a few days warning people that they were going to take advantage of the party to settle scores. The police have yet to confirm whether there is a link between the crime and these messages - In the confusion, a 39-year-old woman was also shot. According to SAMU, she was shot in the arm and taken to the Divinópolis UPA. The Military Police are still searching for the shooters.

•The woman’s name is Fiorela Lizeth Diaz, she was previously married to the murderer. She found out that her ex husband, Elmer Lucano Llanos, was stalking her, and proceeded to set up CCTV cameras in her home. On July 17th, 2021, he broke into their home while they were in the middle of intercourse in a fit of rage, proceeding to stab at both Diaz and her lover, Jorge Malca, injuring the man and brutally murdering Diaz. She was stabbed up to 40 times, dying on the scene (a medical examiner saying she bled to death, her life seen slipping away seconds from the ending of the video).
•Llanos was later arrested and given life for femicide, having to pay 1M soles (which is around $275,000 USD) to the family of Diaz, and 13 added years for attempted homicide on Malca and ordered to pay $30,000 soles (around $8,600 USD) to the man. He was also forbidden for life to see his children. If that wasn’t enough, the state also added an extra six years to Llanos’ sentence as well as a charge of $1,000 soles ($30 USD) for disobeying the state.
•He is currently serving his life sentence in the El Milagro de Trujillo prison. I will provide a link, though all of it is in Spanish. If you see in the video, he gets the blade lodged in her ribs, forcing her to scream.

HONDURAS - Video captured the moment a security guard working at a mall suddenly shot himself and died instantly.
The victim, identified as OLM according to national media, is 51 years old.
As seen in the video, the guard pulled out his gun, placed it on his chest and pulled the trigger.
It is not yet known whether it was truly a suicide or an accident, but authorities arrived on the scene to remove the body.
It turned out that it was his first day as a security guard and he had no idea how to use weapons.

This is Juan Carlos Coronado, 33 years old, who was surprised by a hitman who ended his life when he was talking to another person.
