A video shows the moment in which the communicator Manuel Duncan hides in order to surprise a man who was chasing him with a firearm.

In the instant that the person arrives, Duncan pounces on him, but fails in the attempt, his executioner was faster with the trigger of his gun and shoots him before his victim manages to fall on top of him: the shot makes the communicator fall immediately.

According to the images of the clip, the perpetrator is not satisfied with having hit the shot and that Duncan fell to the ground, before fleeing he fires another shot in the victim's back.

According to the police, prior to the crime, which occurred in the parking lot of a fast food business, on Núñez de Cáceres and Rómulo Betancourt avenues, in the Mirador Norte sector, the two men had an argument.

In a preliminary report, Police spokesman, Diego Pesqueira, said that at least six people were detained for investigation in relation to the death of the 45 year old communicator in the early hours of this morning.

He did not give further details about the detainees.

Pesqueira explained that it was a quarrel originated at the place as a result of an argument between Duncan and the victimizer, who fled in a Mercedes Benz vehicle, after committing the act, in circumstances not yet specified.

He pointed out that the communicator and his killer arrived at the place one after the other.

Pesqueira said that, according to preliminary statements, the tragedy occurred when the individual, who has not yet been identified, went to his vehicle, took out a firearm and fired several shots at the communicator.

"Both the employees of this center, as well as a friend who accompanied the deceased, and a security guard who worked nearby have offered versions that have to be corroborated by the prosecutor who is in charge of the case and our investigators", he said.
