A 30-year-old naked man committed suicide by breaking the window of his 26th floor apartment before jumping out to escape police officers who entered his apartment.

The police had already arrived at the apartment when a loud, suspicious noise was heard in the apartment. When there was a knock on the door, the man armed with a knife broke the window and then jumped out.

19 September 2015, Pattaya, Thailand – The son of a senior Pattaya policeman died after shooting himself during an argument with his father over household chores.

Tosawat Boonrod, 21, shot himself through the ear with the service pistol belonging to his father, Pol. Sen. Sgt. Maj. Anupap Boonrod, chief of Pattaya traffic police, at their three-story Soi Prapanimit 1 townhouse Sept. 19, according to his parents.

He succumbed to his injuries later at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.

Anupap told police and rescuers responding to the shooting that he had sternly reprimanded his son for spending all his time playing Internet games and not helping his mother around the house and in their first-floor mini-mart.

He said he later changed clothes and left his gun on a table. The two then got into another argument, during which Tosawat picked up the pistol and shot himself.

His panicked mother threw the gun out the window and it was taken by passing teenagers.

Police are still investigating while also trying to locate the traffic cop’s gun.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – A 17-year-old girl died after falling from an apartment building on the Upper East Side, a New York Police Department spokeswoman said

The girl was discovered unconscious and unresponsive in the rear of a building on 82nd Street, near Park Avenue and she was pronounced dead at the scene, the spokeswoman said.

The teen's injuries were indicative of falling from "an elevated position," she said.

Detectives do not believe that any criminality is involved and they are investigating her death as a possible suicide, according to the spokeswoman.

One neighbor told The New York Post, "I was coming out of my apartment and there were three ambulances on the block. It's horrible. It's absolutely horrendous."

In Istanbul Beylikdüzü, a 54-year-old woman named Eleni Buluda committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the business center where she went up the fire escape ladder.

A couple's fight had a tragic outcome this Wednesday morning (17), in São Geraldo do Araguaia. Luiz Sousa Messias, 26 years old, was found dead with a cut made by a knife.

"A security guard was killed after he accidentally shot himself while filming a TikTok video,*the police said on Monday.

G.S was employed at a flour mill in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Maymar, Pakistan

According to the police, he was filming a TikTok video with a friend when the accident took place. “The video, which was saved in his mobile phone, shows him placing a rifle on his chest and mimicking lyrics of a song,” a police officer said.

In the middle of the recording, a bullet was shot from the rifle. Shabbir was immediately taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital but he couldn't survive his injuries.

His friend, who was filming the video, has been detained. He told the police that the rifle was rusted and didn't work. “I don't how it fired that day,” he said."
