A disturbing video of a bike-borne man being crushed to death by a school bus has come to light. The fatal accident that happened Monday morning was captured on CCTV and the victim has been identified as a 55-year-old school headmaster.
The accident happened in Sukhpura village of Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district. The deceased, identified as Arvind Kumar Upadhyay, was on his way to the Compositie Kanya Junior High School when the school bus hit his motorcycle. The victim fell on the road and the bus ran him over, killing him on the spot.
The school bus appears to be of St Xavier's School, according to the CCTV footage.
The bus driver did not stop the vehicle. In the video, it can be seen that the speed of the bus was low at the time of the accident. Even after Upadhyay came under the front wheel of the bus, the driver continued to run him over.
The police arrived at the accident spot and sent the body for post mortem. Following the incident, crowd gathered at the scene. The police reached the spot as soon as they received information and took control of the situation by taking the body into custody for necessary actions. Meanwhile, Upadhyay's relatives rushed to the scene and were deep distress over the tragedy.

A tragic accident occurred today in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh where an elderly person died. An old man crossing the road was crushed by a truck.
67-year-old Vijay Sharma died tragically in a heart-wrenching road accident on Wednesday morning at the traffic signal located at Gayatri Mandir Tirahe, the busiest in the city.
The elderly were crossing the road in front of Gayatri Temple in the morning. He was walking on the road looking left and right. Meanwhile, the truck standing at the signal suddenly started moving and hit the old man. CCTV footage of this accident is also going viral, in which the truck is seen crushing an elderly person. During this time it was also seen that the driver of the truck was focused on his mobile phone so he did not see the old man.
According to the information received, Vijay Sharma, resident of Vallabh Nagar, had gone out to visit the temple in the morning. During this time he became victim of a road accident. Originally a resident of Rajpur in Barwani district, he was unmarried, and was living with his younger brother in Khargone for the last 25 years. According to family members, Sharma had left in the morning to attend the havan being held at Gayatri temple.
It is seen in the video footage that they were crossing the road outside the temple. During this time, he kept wandering on the road for some time as the truck was standing at the signal. Then they started passing in front of the truck, during which the truck also started moving and the truck driver moved ahead, hitting Sharma. The wheel of the truck passed through Sharma's leg, after which he was taken to the district hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead. After the PM, the police handed over the body to the family members.

A fatal collision in Milton early Saturday morning has left three people dead, including a teenage girl and two men, Halton police say.Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision near Sixth Line and Derry Road at around 3:20 a.m.
In a news release issued Saturday, police say a 16-year-old girl from Brampton and an 18-year-old man, who were travelling together in a vehicle, were pronounced dead at the scene. A 26-year-old Milton man, who was in the other vehicle, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
"Our heartfelt condolences are extended to the families affected by these tragic losses," police said in the release.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation, the release said. No other information has been released.
Roads in the area have reopened after closing for several hours Saturday morning for police investigation.
Anyone who witnessed or may have DashCam footage of the collision is asked to contact investigators.

A teenage girl was killed and her friend seriously injured after the motorcycle they were riding skidded and hit a wall of a supermarket in Taman Serai Wangi, Padang Serai here, this afternoon.
The victim. identified as Nurin Balqis Mohamad Zakri, 18, died at the scene due to severe head injuries.
Kulim district police chief Superintendent Mohd Azizul Mohd Khairi said in the 12pm incident the victim was riding her Honda Vario motorcycle with her friend when she is believed to have lost control and crashed.
He said the motorcycle the girls rode from the direction of Jalan Serai Wangi 5 to Jalan Serai Wangi 10 crashed upon nearing a supermarket located in a row of shoplots.
The motorcycle ridden by Nurin Balqis had allegedly hit the concrete slab of a drain, before crashing into the wall of the supermarket.
"As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was confirmed dead at the scene," he said when contacted today.
