The incident happened in the Brazilian city of Campo Grande on January 22 at around 7pm. Footage was recorded by a security camera.
The man was the boyfriend of the driver's mother. According to police, he had assaulted and raped her mother.
Graphic footage shows the man sitting outside a building on the pavement with another male.
A car then runs into him, crushing him against the wall. After reversing, the driver then runs into the man again, at which point he lies motionless.
The other man at the scene was not hit.
Two woman then get out the car and one of them starts shouting at the man on the ground, before getting in the car and driving off.
The man was rescued by teams from the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and the Military Fire Department. He was to Santa Casa hospital in a serious condition,
The driver has not yet been found, and she is wanted on attempted murder.

In 2013, David Holmes was killed when a car turned into his path as he zoomed down a road in Norfolk, England. Holmes was traveling about 97 mph at the time of the crash, and the driver of the car he hit admitted to careless driving after saying he didn't see the motorcyclist, the BBC reports.

"I know he rode fast that day. He loved speed, he loved motorbikes," David's mother, Brenda Holmes, said. "I just hope that somebody benefits from it. That motorists slow down and look before they turn..."

A camera on the 38-year-old's helmet captured the accident.
After seeing the footage, Holmes agreed for it to be released to the public. She's now helping lead a road safety campaign along with the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Police Department to get all riders and motorists to think seriously about driving safe on the road.
"If we can prevent one accident; one family going through what we have been through then David would not have died in vain," Holmes told the BBC.
The head of the local police unit admits releasing the video is controversial, but he also believes it will help save lives.
"There are families on both sides of this who have been involved and the whole point of this video is to stop that happening again," Chief Inspector Chris Spinks told the BBC. "I don't make any apologies for it being hard-hitting because the day and age we're in now we have to up our game in the casualty reduction world to make sure that we get that message across."

TELUK INTAN - Three Pakistani men died and three others were seriously injured after being hit by a car in an accident at Kilometer 16 of Jalan Teluk Intan-Bidor near Chui Chak here on Wednesday.The incident happened at around 8 am when all the victims aged between 20 and 35 years old were walking to the mosque to perform Aidilfitri circumcision prayers.
Hilir Perak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri said, two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and the other died while receiving treatment at Teluk Intan Hospital.
"The inspection found that all the victims have valid permits and travel documents," he said in a statement here on Wednesday.
He said, preliminary investigations found that the accident occurred when a Proton Saga car driven by a man lost control and crashed before hitting the victim who was passing through the shoulder of the road.
He said a urine test on the 36-year-old driver who worked as a restaurant assistant confirmed that the man involved tested positive for cannabis.
"The man has been detained for further investigation.
"The case is being investigated under Section 44(1)(a) of the Road Transport Act 1987 which is driving while under the influence of drugs and causing death," he said.

A Range Rover sport utility vehicle rammed into 18 people in Brownsville. Eight people were killed, and ten were injured. Officials say it is unclear whether the crash was intentional.
The crash occurred outside the Ozanam Center, a homeless shelter used by migrants, after the suspect ran a red light near an area where the victims were waiting for a bus. The local police department said that all the victims were male Venezuelan migrants.
George Alvarez, a 34-year-old resident of Brownsville, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, and later with eight counts of manslaughter and ten counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $3,600,000. Alvarez has an extensive criminal history, including two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, multiple counts of assault causing bodily injury, and one count of driving while intoxicated. On May 11, officials declared that Alvarez had cocaine, benzodiazepines and marijuana in his system at the time of the crash, while they were also waiting for further toxicology results.

This took place in ViΓ±a del mar, Chile, in December 17th 2021, during an illegal street race.
Kristofer Fallaque was a 39-year-old Peruvian man that moved to Chile looking for better oppotunities for himself and his family; he was married and had a daughter.
In the very early hours of the morning Kristofer tried to cross the Camino Internacional Street, completely unaware that there was an illegal street race taking place in that very Street; when he attempted to cross the street he was run over by one of the speeding vehicles in the race, a blue BMW, killing him instantly; after running Kristofer over the person driving the BMW tried to flee, but because of state of the vehicle after the impact, they were only able to drive 1km before being stopped by the people that witnessed the incident until the police arrived.
AFTERMATH

The BMW driver was swiftly taken into police custody, and they were later put on house arrest while they awaited trial; i did not find any information on who this person was or what their sentence was but we can assume that they were convicted for involuntary manslaughter, and that carries a sentence of 12 months to 8 years in prison with possibility of perole; it can also include a fine along with the prison sentence (i'm not a lawyer, and i truly hope i did not commit any mistakes while writing this specific part).
PERSONAL NOTE
In every video post i do (excluding Effortposts) i also like to do a little bit of research to give the video some context and if possible a backstory, although in this case i feel like it got a little bit too extensive. This post is not meant to be an Effortpost, because i personally consider it did not take that much effort for me to make (i hope this doesn't sound like i'm bragging or something), but if the admins consider this does count as an effort post then so be it. While i was doing my small research i did not spect the backstory to be this tragic, and this case also really SHOWED me how dangerous an illegal street race can be. NOVO HAMBURGO, BRAZIL β APRIL 10, 2024 The 25-year-old biker went for a ride with his 22-year-old girlfriend, Natiel VitΓ³ria Rodrigues. However, a serious accident occurred in the Lomba Grande neighbourhood when they collided with a car at high speed. The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries and is out of danger of life. His girlfriend wasn't so lucky. As the video shows, the asphalt massacred her. Jen rolls in pain in a pool of blood and with her body torn apart. Death occurred a short time later.
